    Hi Mary,

I don't use anything on the 2 coloured ones, they look quite funky just being left without decoration ... I haven't made any single flannel ones as yet. I have made brown and cream, pink and white, nd blue and white cupcakes all of which I have just left undecorated. I guess you could decorate the top of you wanted to but I chose to just leave them

That two coloured one is lovely I hope you
dont mind but I have used your pics for the
front page so everyone can find them easily
later on if they fancy having a go at this,I
know I do ,many thanks for posting them.

Rusty - well they do look good as they are, no doubt about that.
Wonder if anyone has any ideas about how we could make something that resembles a mince pie to go with yule logs at christmas ? Just a thought.

I'll go with that Chris :T :T :T to all who are so helpful on here with piccys, instructions etc and happy to share their ideas............thank you all:T

Thanks Rosekitten. I don't mind at all ... I guess I got lucky with the 2 flannel cupcake it was my first one and I found it incredibly easy to do ... which isn't like me as I don't really have a crafty bone in my body! ... However I may well struggle with the single ones but stikll to try them

Rusty, thanks so much for the instructions, you are a true star :D

Didn't even think when I asked for some help that I was asking you after you'd hurt your hand so badly, so sorry, not sure where my brain has been today - think the sun has fried it!

Don't be silly, there were a few people who had asked for help and even a couple of PM's :) ... I would have been doing bits and bobs anyway so its not an issue. Just hope you get it sorted ok. Besides I shouted for help from you this morning ... and will be doing so again in a few mins :rotfl:

He loves doing stuff like that ... he helped me make some flannel cupcakes aswell ... I don't get too much time to sit and do things like that with him though as my daughter makes sure that any time I try to sit and do things with him she has to have a paddy etc ... she is only 14 months old but including her in things like this is impossible ... PM me your address I will send him over :rotfl:

Thats a good idea ... do they do silicon hands? ... I was stupid ... after watching Jamie cook some prok chops in an oven I decided to do the same for sunday tea ... I took ot frying oan out of the oven (yes I know pans are supposed to go on the oven but its a metal pan) put in pork chops and then picked up pan to put back in oven ... forgetting it had been in a hot oven for the last 10 mins :rotfl:I had to scrape some of my skin off the handle and felt a little like jekyll and hyde ... except in a Jamie Oliver/Gordon Ramsey kind of way ;)

DF did that one Sunday a few months ago......lovely shiny new S/S pans, used the oven glove to get it out of the oven & promptly forgot when picking it up again 5 minutes later.....burnt all his fingers & palm of left hand (and he's l/handed!) ...... quickest ever A&E visit though - 25 minutes to have it dressed!

Can I just say, these flannel cakes & reindeer are lovely.....I can see some inspiration coming for Christmas pressies.....
