Lovely teatowels rosekitten!!! Are they for you or for pressies?
I bought a cute china bowl from BHS last week with cupcakes painted on the outside. The bowl was on offer and it was a 20% off everything day so got it for about £2! If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
Sorted ..... :j
Found an even easier way to package my slice of 'flannel cake'.
Now nobody can see my mistakes :rotfl:

Ok, maybe not such a good dispay idea, but good for the ones that dont turn out well ..... lol :rotfl:
Check out all their other boxes and bags, I wonder how many of these we could actually create ??? :rolleyes:A creative mess is better than tidy idleness0 -
I have just found these gorgeous christmas log boxes, a pack of 5 for £2.75 (or £2.50 for 10 or more).
Note: £4.50 postage (for orders under £100).
Maybe an idea for your christmas yule logs.

They are nice, its such a shame they
charge so much for postage.its not
just them but lots of places, you dont
mind so much when your buying a few
things it kind of balances out.
I live near a kitchen wholesale supplier
I go in there to buy muffin cake cases
from time to time. Its not the largest one
of its type but I am going to check to see
if they get this type of thing in their xmas
lines later in the year.If there is anything
especially cake boxes like those I dont mind
getting them and popping them in the post
if its going to work out cheaper for everyone.
The postage in these places is such a killer
in terms of cost.:j:j:j0 -
I could kick myself for giving
that book on cartonage to the
charity shop noticed it was swooped
up straight away so cant even go and
buy it back.I bought it in Asda its a
large hardback book with a red and yellow
cover if anyone spots one it has all the
templates for just about every type of
box and carton you could think of to
make at home.:j:j:j0 -
Perhaps you could appeal on free cycle for the book, or have a look-see in the library Ros...or there's those othe sites for books arn't there---GreenCycle or summat?
Think I've said before about the Create & Craft channel on Sky & the templates they have. Might be worth checking out? If I remember I'll have a nose to see if anything rattles the brain cuz it's a while since I've watched anything on there....Full time Carer for Mum; harassed mother of three;loving & loved by two 4-legged babies.

I've just found this:-
http://search.ebay.co.uk/gift-box-template_W0QQfkrZ1QQfnuZ1QQfsooZ2QQfsopZ32QQkeywordZgiftQ20boxQ20template
by typing "gift box templates" into the search bar. There's quite a few come up, but not sure if they are any goodor even what you're looking for.

Here are some sites with templates for gift boxes; you can print them off, enlarge/reduce/adapt them:-

Hopefully some of those will inspire you (and save you a few pennies)
and this is from Earthmother
if anyone wants a cracker-shaped box template, I couldn't find one on the links so have put one together.
Made to fit an A4 sheet (in both directions), it gives a rectangular container area of approx 5.5cm x 5.5cm x 8.5cm.
Cut the diamond shapes out, crease along the long lines, overlap the two end panels and stick, then use some ribbon to pull the ends in like a cracker.
If after resizing the ends don't quite sit 'right' when tied, the trick seems to be to lengthen the diamond cut-out
Hope it's useful to someone0 -
