How often do you check your investments?

Daily!!! Which is 30 times a month too many.😉
I only update my spreadsheets at each month end. How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 3.24% of current retirement "pot" (as at end December 2025)2 -
..once a month when I update my "monthly accounts" spreadsheet.
.."It's everybody's fault but mine...."2 -
Exactly same as stubod - end of each month when updating the spreadsheet I figure the only reason to check it is if the information might lead to some decision or action.

I check ours quarterly but ours are managed by an IFA. When I was managing it I checked them more often. I am a lot more relaxed about them since handing the management off.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. Likewise the portfolio will be rebalanced for you on an infrequent basis. You have no need to make any investment decisions. What an individuals portfolio consists of can vary enormously. The IFA rebalances it quarterly and reports on it too so yes this is why I don't check more often because it is not me making decisions on what to do with them.Thrugelmir said:

Mine are on the Home Screen of my phone updated frequently, so I see them a lot. I don’t get carried away with large gains or losses. Although a full bank of green is nice to see when it happens.

If only. As a fit and fully functioning (and still working) pensioner, I enjoy my money myself because life's too short and there are no pockets in a shroud. Please note - taken from the Forum Rules and amended for my own personal use (with thanks) : It is up to you to investigate, check, double-check and check yet again before you make any decisions or take any action based on any information you glean from any of my posts.
