What cute bears. They are adorable.
I have been doing a lot of pre-minimising myself over the last week. I haven't managed to get rid of stuff yet as the charity shops aren't open yet but I have a pile of stuff to clear out. I did put a CD rack on Facebook yesterday and someone is supposed to be collecting that later today so that would be good to have that gone. This month I will be concentrating on my annual spring clean and declutter. I have only done the lounge and the loft so far. This weekend is the kitchen's turn although most of the things in there I'm pretty sure I use but there may be a few surprises.
The only "mend" I can think of is the fact I decorated my lounge Easter weekend.
As to "making do" I can't think of anything specific but its now got to be a habit so I don't always register that what I am doing is making do.
I have to say this lockdown has really made me review my needs/wants. I have been trying to find things to do that don't require supplies and I am rapidly running out of jobs. I really hope that this is going to be the last lockdown.Lisa

The bears are soooooo cute! I've been making do by making an Easter twig (rather than a tree!) with crochet flowers and birds. I left the yarn on that I tied the flowers onto the twigs with, so they look like catkins from a distance! I'll see if I can put a photo up.2025 Fashion on the ration

Hi everyone, not been posting for a long time but I'm back (as long as I don't lose my password again!!
So today
Make do: leftover dinner eaten up from last night. Made 4 hankies from a thin pillowcase and even managed a bit of embroidery on each one.
Mend: not applicable today!!
Minimise: started shredding paperwork to out for recycling on Monday
The teddies and Easter twig are brilliant ideas, and look lovely!

Love your Easter twig, might use that idea next year. Guess there's nothing stopping folk having a Halloween twig tree or a summer one if you fancy it. The possibilities are endless!
Really enjoy reading everyone's posts, it's very inspiring.
Couldn't find the chunky wool I had in mind for my youngest's fingerless gloves, so using double knitting instead. First glove finished tonight 😊Use it up, wear it out

Thank you for the lovely comments about my Easter twig. I confess it wasn't my original idea, I got the inspiration from Lucy's blog at attic24. The flowers are Lucy's pattern, apart from the dangly ties, and the birds are from bunnymummy's blog. I used the yarn from the leaf to sew the middle of the flower then tie onto the twig.

Make do: HM lunch and dinner, getting low on food etc as I haven't been shopping since 19/12!! but Im sure I can last a few more days. Its surprising how inventive you can get!!
Minimise: Not shopping in shops or online since19/12 Sorted some bits for CS when they open again.
Mend: no mending as such, but I have been sewing. This year I want to buy from CS shops for clothes and alter if necessary, or make them by knitting/sewing and knitting more socks- I love knitted socks, especially this weather. Im hoping just to buy underwear and a pair of wellies (as mine have just started to leak - thinking of putting my foot in a plastic bag then put my wellie on, until I get some, lol!!! needed for the lottie)
Take care
