Sports Direct Online Scams

Hi - purchased 2 pairs of Karrimor walking shoes before Christmas for my daughter - charged £32.99 each but price on box was £29.99 (same as currently found in their stores). Also 4 packs of Slazenger sports socks £4.00 each but label clearly shows "2 for £6.00". I have taken this up with SD but they say shoes were 'incorrectly labelled' & socks 'are in-store deal only'. Are they legally allowed to scam hard working people out of money like this? Not returning as postage will outweigh any difference in cost. Besides, do not trust them any more - why? A friend has just returned some new, unused, faulty trainers purchased online & they refused to refund the postage as they had entered "customer changed mind" as reason for return & they said they were not therefore responsible for the return postage costs!!! I will NEVER shop online there again - getting my Disabled Bus Pass (£5) which will pay for itself over next 3 years.
I am too furious to put the above in how I feel, as I'm sure it will be censored, lols

Where is the scam ?
You saw a price online and was happy to pay it - would you have sent them the extra if the box had £49.99 on it ??10 -
It's not a scam, they can put whatever price on the labels, could have been a sales price that is no longer on offer.
Were you happy with what you paid before you found these labels? Would you have offered to pay more if the label price was higher?

I don't think you understand what "scam" means. There's nothing unlawful about either of the things you're complaining about.5

Did you mean to post here?
As others have eluded, you have not been scammed.0 -

OP was banging on about Sports Direct back in April 2018, suggesting they'd never shop there again (admittedly with better reason then):

Whats a £5 bus pass got to do with anything?2

I think OP is saying that because she's so angry with Sports Direct, she'll get a bus pass and shop there in person in future. Sticking it to Ashley where it hurts!bris said:Whats a £5 bus pass got to do with anything?0
