Could I join in please with 7lb for the period? I'm hoping to lose some weight and increase my activity levels, as and when my health allows.

Thank you for the thread, I'd really like to join please. I need to lose about 60lbs over all but for the 1st quarter I'm going to try for 14lbs, optimistic but I need a rocket up my behind. Good luck everyone!

I would love to join but would feel a bit of a fraud as i had bariatric surgery at the end of November.
Although i still have to work at the losses i would have more of a loss or maintain than hopefully gains over the month

Thank you for setting up the new challenge Brambling. Could you please put me down for a target of 14lb

roblou & monna, thank you for the poems, I can definitely relate to both.

I may have been a bit rubbish at this year's challenges but thank you all for the help and encouragement. Although I didn't manage to lose anything I have at least finished the year the same weight I started it, which is much better than I would've done without you lovely lot.

I'd like to lose 7 lb to get to a whole number of stones and a BMI of 19.8.
