This will sound bonkers but bear with me. I found a pot of sudocrem of the _tiny_ size you find in the Emma’s Diary gift bags for the newly pregnant, and (rummaging through hotel sewing kits) found another 2. For a pound. (With two money off vouchers for 75 pence!)
These little pots are Marvellous - they are so small you can take them down caves (I’ve caved with chaps who smooth talked these tubs from antenatal clinic staff!), or leave them safe in a handbag (unlike the new fancy “little sudocrem” pot which unscrews & ooozes…) & the only downside is they aren’t brim-ful as the bigger sizes.Plus, as only the pregnant can get them, a certain twinkly eyed mischief awaits.7 -

Probably but I wouldn't care to swear to the bio-cleanliness. Says she contemplating it anyway. So long as its applied to self & family can't see the issue, but first aid kit maybe not.
Its glorious stuff thought & used on horses as well as dogs let alone their humans. Held out for nappy rash, it's antibacterial, antifungal & contains a very mild anaesthetic. Also handy for chafing, sunburn, scrapes, itches, insect bites, to discourage scarring & stretchmarks & (my eyes crossed!) great for dry heels I'm told.5 -

Mister CJ and I have been hankering after a nice Harris tweed wing back chair to go in a ‘reading corner’, but the one we found which we both liked was a (very) silly price. In a local charity warehouse on Saturday I snapped up a gorgeous Parker Knoll wing chair which fits the bill beautifully, for just £20. Well, the upholstery is ghastly but the bones of the chair are great. It’s currently in the reading corner with a throw over it while I ring around for reupholstery quotes/watch YouTube videos of DIY reupholstery and convince myself I could probably do it …..9

I've found it!
I've found it!
I've been looked for s patterned fur coat for a while and found a leopard skin one in local hospice.
It's only F&F but in great condition and only £5.00.
Previous owner moved the giant press studs on one side but I'll unpick them and put them back.
Very pleased.7 -
@Pollycat Isn't it wonderful when that happens?!
Had a little wander round the local chazza shops today....came home with a Therapy, mohair, elbow length sleeved, shorty cardi with a tie at the waist in an amethyst colour. It has some not too blingy sequins knitted into the lacy pattern and I have just the perfect dress to go with it, (a chazza sourced Hobbs sleeveless dress in the same colour - feel happier with arms covered these days!!). It was on the sale rail reduced from £4 to £2. Also picked up a cute little box of lavender and bergamot soaps by the Scottish Soap Company for £4.95 which was a little overpriced I thought but I lurve nice smelly soaps. Finally, I have been keeping an eye on a Calvin Klein b/n pure wool jumper dress in a charcoal shade in the BHF shop priced at £12. My patience paid of, (for once), and it had been reduced to half price today. I'm pretty sure that it is a genuine CK dress as the fabric is beautiful quality but the fit is really, really bad. The long sleeves come a full 6ins below my fingertips, the underarm/sleeve bit is nearly at my waist and the boat neckline is baggy at the back. I think it must be a design problem and that's why it had been handed in to the chazza. Very weird!! I'm sure I can do something with it tho.....says she hopefully7 -

envious of your lavender and bergamot soap. I keep waffling about trying to get some shower gel I like but it's £20 if I order it and only a 500ml.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards.
