Dailies done, bedding changed, second wash load in machine, bedroom tidied and dusted of a fashion, bathrooms s&sd, dusty bits in living room dusted, all floors hoovered and mopped, DH has been to docs, I popped in Mr. T while waiting for him, online funeral attended, lunch eaten and washing up done.
The curtains may have to wait. My magazine has just been delivered so I'm going to sit and read that.Spend less now, work less later.10 -
I slipped one coat of silicone trade cream Matt over the darkest purple and royal blue glitter and it covered really well and the room looks so much brighter. It is going to be pink and grey after the pests are back to school.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)9

Sweep and mop the kitchen floor! - this was done Sunday, doesn't need doing until tomorrow.
I just changed our bedding as it was horrendous with crumbs. Blame my hubs who fails to listen when i say we should use tea trays! Oh well , we love fresh bedding so no harm done.
The duvet will be washed as well as another when the hubs is finished his guitar lesson.
I will do this first as not too much clothing laundry left. I'm going to out our huge bag of washing away so it's not piling up again.
I had a sick day, so i'll be in work tomorrow instead (i can swap my day off around if needed so I don't get marked for sickness)
I have been in bed all day, only getting up at 6pm to see my hubs - even though he is off and at home, he's been downstairs doing guitar stuff, gaming or i've been sleeping so not physically seen him too much.
I'll also try and sit down to get my planner ready for 2021 now that I have everything.
I aim to do some of the "Tuesday twinkles" chores but i'll see how I go as still feel quite sick.

Place still looks acceptable, although there's an annoying tatty lump of plastic covered in lights and sat in my biggest plant pot taking up space on the sideboard. Apparently, I'm not allowed to remove it for another week (or chuck it in the wheelie bin as I'd prefer).
Place could do with a dust and polish after it's vacuumed, which is likely to be tomorrow, as I was at the hospital getting lots of pointy things jabbed into me, some of which might help me move without quite so much pain. I've also been very good and despite the usual side effect of steroids being wanting to eat the entire kitchen, I've had just two Lavender shortbreads and tried not to think about how well they'd go with Lemon curd and Creme Fraiche, bother of which are in the fridge and, according to the logging section of the app for my fancy new smart watch Himself bought me, I've still got around a thousand calories to go today, which gives me plenty of leeway.
It does look a bit tidier now we don't have Idiot Cats getting in the way - he bought two radiator cat beds and they are both occupied 85% of the time, which is absolutely unheard of. The only concession to mess is that a largeish square, thick cardboard box is up against one radiator so the slightly malfunctioning animal doesn't have to try and leap up into his preferred one and surprisingly grasped the concept of having his own step very quickly.
Looks like I'm off work for a bit longer than Boris said, though - assuming he doesn't close everything down tomorrow night - I've been told I must isolate for a fortnight as a result of one of the injections, combined with my usual meds. Ah well, if schools are still open, I can work from home rather than be off sick, and if they're closed, I'll have to work from home but won't have to tell them I'm not allowed to leave the house.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll12 -
My bedroom is vacuumed and dusted..to my shame it was desperate.

Went for a chilly, muddy but welcome walk for an hour or so.
Phone call from care home, MIL unresponsive so taken to hospital. Mr N rang hospital at 7pm, doing lots of tests/scans as they aren't sure what is going on. Have to ring back at 11pm. Could be a long night.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.11 -
