The course sounds interesting sugarbaby . It's good that you've got back to writing. It feels like some normality is returning.
Any news on the house Wednesday?
The sale fell through on the house next door. I'm guessing that they failed to complete before the stamp duty holiday expired and didn't think it was worth the extra £15K it would cost. For Sale board is back up. It's a shame as the previous purchasers seemed very nice.
I'm keeping the Matalan sun dress. I bought another in a smaller size. This one is pale green. So I'll take the blue one back for a refund. Now all I need is some sun! 🌞
Hair appointment booked for tomorrow. I'm just having a cut and blow dry. I'll leave having highlights for a while as I'm happy with the colour at the moment.
Not seen pixie posting for a while. Hope all is well. 🤔6 -
We have had our offer on a house accepted and we did accept an offer on our house too. I don't feel as excited as I should because I read 4/10 house sales fall through!
I do worry I haven't seen enough properties. I have seen 9 and my husband has seen 20. I do like the house though and like the area so fingers crossed. It all happened so quickly, only 15 days since we viewed the first flat!
I went out today and bought some notebooks from a £1 shop and have been writing down lots of information today into 5 notebooks. One is general household reminders, one is information on the house we want and how I would lay out the rooms etc..., one is general moving information and one is information on my husband's pension.
The last notebook is all the info on the houses/flats we have seen in case this house sale falls through. The one with the viewings info I have ranked in order so we know which one to go for if this house falls through and I have kept the info for the ones we ruled out just as a reference.
Phew. I do feel a lot more organised after doing all that.
I haven't been doing much fabbing at all. I have been drinking lots of alcohol and watching sport. The England game was so good last night!!!

🤞that it all happens Wednesday but I think you're right to be organised and not get too excited until you know more for sure.
I like the notebook idea and the more sorting out you can do, the easier it will be when you move. When we last moved, I went through all the cupboards and drawers to be sure I knew what was in them and that all the stuff was really needed.7 -
@Wednesday2000 I think if you have found the right house that feels "The One", it doesn't matter how many you have viewed. When I bought my home, I viewed 5 houses - 2 back in Blackpool, 2 in different areas of Warrington and the one I bought, which just felt right when I walked in. The house I sold in Blackpool had 4 viewings in the first week, and then a second viewing by the couple who bought it.
I had several spreadsheets on the go for my house moves - financial, new house plans (with a different tab for each room, the furniture going in there & what I needed to find/buy/do), old house plans (what was going into storage /with me, what was to be sold /donated) and what was going into my bedsit with me. It wasn't all straightforward as I was moving to a bedsit for over 4 months, the cat was going to a cattery and 90% of my life went into storage!2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

Hello Ladies,
Wednesday I hope both house sales go through. It must be so exciting even though it is all happening so fast. Your notebooks will keep you organised and on top of the myriad things you need to do.
Maman I am enjoying the Creative Writing course already. I wrote another piece with the theme of the power dynamic between a toddler and their Nursery Nurse based on my younger son's real life experiences, entitled 'I Could Not Speak'.
I finally have a Rhuematology Clinic appointment tomorrow afternoon, after numerous cancellations over the last 18 months, at my local hospital.
My son won another £25 this month on his Premium Bonds.I did not win anything this month but I am still pleased about my Tesco £250 win last month. I spent just over £20 from the £100 Tesco gift card that I won this weekend, on some top up shopping.

Thank you ladies. We are going to see the house again this week.
Floss - Yes, I really can imagine us living there. It's weird as a house I loved online I didn't get good feelings from even though it was really gorgeous and stylish. I just couldn't picture it as my house.
I also thought it was strange as we ruled out so many places that we saw. I don't think we are particularly fussy but so many just were not for us. I think maybe it is to do with the pets as we only had one cat the first time we bought.
When we moved here we only saw three houses and I liked two of them. We did look just after I left uni but didn't buy. I think we saw around 8 flats then.
We are going to see the house again this week. I hope it all goes through smoothly as I found the process of looking for a house much more tedious than I would have thought!

hi everyone. Exciting news Wednesday, hope it all goes well.
My news is I have the most beautiful bathroom I've ever seen. I am so happy with every single thing I chose and the bathroom fitter is also thrilled, he is using photos of the job on his website.
Now I just have to pay for it.
I'm going to have a read and catch up with all the news in the meantime I hope everyone is well and happy.8 -
