Great news pixie. I know it costs but I'm sure you will love every minute of it. It's 18 months since ours was finished and it still gives me pleasure every day. I'm not a huge fan of housework but I enjoy keeping it looking immaculate. And it helps me keep fab as it's a joy to pamper myself in such glamorous surroundings. Enjoy! 😊🚿🛁7

Happy Birthday LL 🎂 I hope you have a fabulous day x5

This week I've lost two and a quarter pounds and I've reached my first "medium" goal. I'm really pleased but, more importantly, I've proved to myself that I have the willpower and determination to carry this through to the bitter end. I'm aiming for my next "medium" goal now.
I must try on some clothes that were too tight to see if any of them fit better. My trousers that I'm wearing at the moment are starting to feel a bit more comfortable.
Housewise I'm busy giving everywhere a really good clean and declutter. Kitchen and bathroom are so much easier now everything has a home. In my quest for freeing up space I've started on our outdoor cellar. Frankly it's full of junk that needs to go to the tip. It's overwhelming when I look at it so again it will have to be a little everyday. Slow and steady gets you there (so long as Himself doesn't have to get involved or he'll want to keep it all "just in case"). It's a pretty long undertaking though.
Right. I'm off to get dressed and then go to the shops. I'm running out of fruit again.
Have a good day everyone.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.7 -
Oh yes, Happy Birthday LL. I did say it on the other thread.
We are off to look at the house again today. It's raining. Lovely.6 -

Congratulations on your weight loss TF! Delighted for you. 😊
I think you're right to tackle the cellar a bit at a time. We're trying to empty junk out of our garage. What helped us was to make a regular booking at the tip (appointments necessary during lockdowns and I hope they stick with it as no queuing). Or another way is to make sure you fill your bins up at every collection with any of the junk that'll fit in.
Hope the viewing goes well Wednesday. It rained here last night but it's better today.
I'm very pleased with my hair. It's back to being a short bob, just under my ears with the sides at chin level IYSWIM. I'm going to my socially distanced dancing again tonight. We need to take a decision soon about when we're going to go back to touching each other! 🤣7 -
Thank you, Maman. Apparently I am no longer obese just overweight
. That's a relief, I can tell you.
I hadn't realised I was obese.
We don't have a car or drive so I'm doing exactly that. Filling up the bins with what we can. I've just added a load of cardboard to the recycling bin. There are a lot of things that will have to go to the tip so once I have it all sorted I will have to get a collection from the council. Not sure if it's still free. They were talking about charging but I don't mind. It will be worth it.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.7 -
My joy didn't last long. I've broken a bone in my foot, doctor said it will take 8 weeks to heal and pain might last five or six months. I want to cry, after all the lockdown we had plans for the school holidays with GC and DD who is a teacher. It won't be healed till they are back at school. I can't bear any weight on it, don't know how we will cope, DH can't do much due to disability.
I think I'm just going to cry it out. Last thing I did last night was transfer the money to the bathroom fitter, first thing I do this morning is break a bone. I'm so mad with myself.6 -
Oh dear pixie, sending you a great big hug. 🤗 I'm sure the pain will ease in time and you'll find ways to enjoy your family. Would your GS come to stay and help you out? 🤔6
