Received the £100 winter payment into my bank this morning.  I have transferred it to the emergency fund (£1117).  Its building up nicely.  Lets hope no emergencies happen any time soon and it can just sit there.

I’m glad your solicitor is on side. He must like the element of control more than he wants the money. I hope he gives into temptation and signs for the money ASAP.

Guess what.....the house is all mine.  XH has signed the paperwork and the mortgage has been paid (with loan from Uncle).  Let the next chapter begin x
