Well i am still waiting - not even an email from the solicitor to say sorry we are waiting for XH. I just feel in limbo, and think this is the reason for so many nightmares involving XH shouting and being horrible to me. Its been non stop and i feel exhausted from it. I was very down tuesday as do not see how 2 people that have caused so much pain to someone can be allowed to be so happy and think they have got away with all the lies. Its just not fair. I will move on from here just having a blip, and probably not helped by the lack of decent sleep. Not much to update money wise, but have managed to put another £150 into my emergency fund from todays benefit pay. One of the ladies at work turns 50 today so we are having a cream tea to celebrate. We are all in a bubble and its during a staff meeting in our normal work setting, so hopefully not breaking any rulesMe, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

Yay its the holidays...only a little bit of paperwork to do for work, but as its so we can get paid i don't mind and i will book my time sitting on the sofa doing the work
I must admit i have been looking forward to day being over. I'm sure this 2 weeks will wizz by, but hopefully i will rediscover my umph and the house will get sorted. I going to test the older 2 children's painting skills - not sure if that's a wise move or not, but if it works out ok it will hopefully be a lot quicker

Well i woke up early this morning but managed to get back to sleep. Woke up again at 9 and got sorted. Really need to move myself today and get some bits sorted - maybe a few bits in the garden as the sun is out at the moment. The thing is i need help off the children but they are all happily entertaining themselves quietly, all separately and without arguing. Seems too nice to disturb lol.
Because the kids are free school meals, the council keep sending letters about certain funds and help available. The other day it was a food parcel for the holidays, today it was a winter fund payment. I filled in my details and will see if i qualify for it - no mention on how much it is, perhaps it depends on the individual household, but every little helps. Ok off to sort kitchen cupboards.

Haven't been on for a few weeks and yours was the first diary I checked hoping for great news but alas it's not happened. I'm assuming the hold up is the ex and not the solicitors.
Hopefully won't be too long🙏0 -
Aw I feel privileged that you chose to come here first in the hope for good news, but yes XH is the one dragging his feet it would appear. I am not going to speak with him as he will only be abusive, i will let the solicitors chase it. Hopefully it wont be much longer as i really want to get going with the rest of my life.Me, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

Well just had a call from Nana (XH nana who i keep in touch with much more than he does) and he has finally after year and a half visited. She rang as i had told her last week that i was going to change the carpet in the hallway to laminate because of the cats. Well he erupted at how he paid for that carpet and no i should be cleaning it and how i shouldn't be changing anything. Well nana said he didn't live in the house anymore so not up to him. He did not like that. She rang to say he may be wanting words. I couldn't care less what he says as he is no longer living here and he did not pay a penny towards the carpet as my mum bought all of the carpets in our house. They met up with the girlfriend and her kids who happened to be in the same park as them with sweets ready to hand over - i thought that was still against the law, but what do i know. Anyway nothing was said as he dropped the kids off and drove away without even seeing if they had got into the house. He is so stupid and will definitely not like it if and when i put it on the market lol. Perhaps he would like to buy it off me for him and his girlfriend lol. Sorry fortnightly XH rant over. Hopefully normal service will be resumed very shortly

@slm6002 he was never the brains of the operation when you were together; without your influence he's lost. He is heading for one almighty shock when reality dawns; luckily, you'll be far far away, over the hills. Sounds like his gran has his measure! Keep going, you are fantastic love Humdinger x1

Thank you Humdinger1, yes one day i hope he realises just how good he had it and how every other woman was much much worse. I really am hoping that karma exists and they both feel the pain i have gone through. Sounds mean but that's where i am at the moment. I am better off without him and am on the way to my new life.Me, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19
