That is Wednesday done. Tomorrow and Friday are going to be half days to try to reduce my hours I have. No one is about tomorrow afternoon so I shall be home alone (a very rare thing nowadays).
Mustered up some energy to make dinner tonight and put a load of washing on. I think I am tired as I have so many bits going on in my head. Nothing bad or too major, just many things that need doing or thinking about for the next month or so. All whirling around my head at the same time. All 3 children have something going on, then work, clubs, appointments, it doesn't stop does it. As I says it is all good but need my head to chill a little lol. Calendars are up to date but its things like what gcse choices to choose and then the uni options etc.
I ran out of time this morning so bought a very unexciting and overpriced lunch at the corner shop. Not worth the money so will make sure I sort tomorrows lunch before bed. Need to stay awake for the traitors, or I might watch on catchup at the weekend.
Tomorrow is my birthday, but we don't do much normally. We also have parents evening for DS and then as soon as I am off video call we need to be in the car and straight onto club where I seem to be running it as DD1 (who took it over) is working (another thing that needs looking at as she will be working at that time a lot, and then if off to uni she will not be around at all). Once home at about half 8 that will be me done and I will be ready for bed lol. Such a party animal I amMe, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

Well I am still up as waiting for mine and DS's clothes to finish washing. The machine on first attempt came up with an error code to say it isn't draining. Restarted it and it is going again. Hoping it was just a blip after the shock clean yesterday. I don't want to have to get it repaired and I need my work trousers for tomorrow lolMe, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

Didn't get to bed until gone midnight as it took forever to work out what was going on with the machine. It was blocked. Emptied some water by hand before looking in the filter and having a tidal wave of water flow out. Many towels later and removing blockage and it worked. Then once it was done I was able to wait until the spin was finished before going to bed. Really hadn't been the plan of the night but at least it is now working.
Right better get teeth brushed and get going to workMe, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

I ended up working the whole day, but surrounded by friends so not a bad birthday. I've just found the link from the college for DS's parents evening meeting so am all ready for that. Dad popped round and we had some cake.
The ladies at work bought me a puzzle and some flowers which are lovely. Going to have a takeaway (probably maccy d's on the way home from club), but nothing too exciting. I find January birthdays rarely are exciting.
Did a load of washing when I got home and it seems to be back to normal thankfully.Me, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

Pay Debt by Xmas #291 -
Thank you for my birthday wishes. DD1 took me out for lunch today as she wasn't able to do much yesterday due to working late. It seemed very strange letting her pay for it. It was less than £20 and I have to remember she is working full time now so more than able to treat me.
I am already in my pjs and under my new blanket. Dinner is cooked and the washing machine is already on. Tomorrow DD2 is off to volunteer on a farm with her friend, and DS and I are off to Dad's to help him remove a washing machine to the tip. I am also booked in at the tip and will take the bits for the charity shop there. DD2 may see some floor space then.
I would like to have a little tidy of the freezer food and have a quick look at what we have left. I will then try to make a bit of a menu plan using some of it. I would like to only do a little essentials shop this week but we will see.Me, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

So far this morning I have only managed to drop DD2 off at the farm. Will collect at 1 so gives me time to get dad's washing machine to the tip and then as its only the next village along from him, collect her. I had thought that I'm going to be going backwards and forwards all day to the same village.
Blocked in again this morning, but not the builders today (have been every morning this week), but the man who doesn't even live along this road. He is having his car repaired so rather than park on the edge of the road he parks behind me, as does all of his friends who are helping him. Lots of careful reversing and we got out and then back in again. One day I will be able to move to somewhere with a road I can get out of. I do dream of a lovely little bungalow when I'm older and the children have all left. A driveway that is completely mine, room for visitors and another for an office / craft room. I'd like to live in Dad's village as there enough shops, activity centres, places to eat, a library all very close by, and a train station too if I need to get elsewhere. Oneday!
OK I best try to wake DS up as he is going to be doing the heavy lifting for us.Me, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19
