Last day before we head on holiday. Yesterdays list is still going
* Washing - in progress - Almost done - just DD1's things to do when she brings them down.
* Packing - 2/4 of us have packed clothes, and working on other bits and bobs
* House cleaned - very nearly there - need to mop kitchen floor after finishing clearing in there
* Sort fridge out - just needs wiping down
Printed out the treasure trail that we won the other week, and I picked one close to our holiday destination. Got our entry to the national trust too, so that is 2 days entertainment outside of the house.
Time to get moving

Thank you @joedenise. Currently sitting down eating lunch and charging fit bit.
Washing all done and on the line - no more will be done until next weekend. The car oil and water has been checked, insurance and breakdown documents in bag (just in case). Only DD1 needs to pack her case when she gets home from work. The rest of us just need to add washing bits in the morning once hair and teeth done. Chargers and devices will also be a morning job.
House is starting to look good, bins emptied apart from the kitchen one, cat food / litter trays sorted ready for brother to look after them. Just need to write list of instructions for them.
Have started an online shop to be delivered Friday evening as the fridge is looking very bare, and I don't want to succumb to takeaway. Will finalise it later tonight I hope. I have vouchers for supermarket so hopefully wont cost us too much. DD1 and I need to collect a can of alcoholic drink later, as were both sent vouchers and the shop in town apparently takes them. Worth a try later on, although now wondering if there are still laws about selling alcohol at certain times of day on a Sunday?
Would like to nip to B&M too and grab a dishwasher cleaner that I can set going tomorrow before we leave. I rarely have no washing up to put in so it would be a treat for the machine lol.
Ok I am at 99% so time for me to carry on

No laws regarding times to buy alcohol unless you live in Scotland as far as I know! I've bought alcohol when I've gone shopping around 9am and never a problem.2

Thank you @Four_Seasons. Only I'm awake so far so I'm enjoying the quiet and some cuddles with the cats.
The local shop wouldn't accept the voucher yesterday so no free drinks for us as yet. We will however keep an eye out on our travels, just in case the right named shop pops up. If not it is not a problem.
Washing done, kitchen cleaned, all now packed - although it needs to make its way to the car as yet. I need to pop the dishwasher on to clean but I think that is it.
It is going to be warm today. Looking forward to getting settled and getting in the hot tubMe, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

Thank you @Jessy103, so far so good.
It took us a little longer to get here than planned just because of the volumes of traffic (assuming everyone else is on holiday this week). We also stopped off in the local supermarket as had half an hour to spare before we could get in the house, rather than heading out again later. I bought the pizza dough with us and we enjoyed those last night before relaxing for a while in the hot tub as it got dark. Think we were in there a little too long really but it was lovely. DS got the board games out pretty much as soon as we got here
The kids are torn between loving the place as the farmhouse is lovely and so much bigger than expected, and it being so quiet and relaxing and in the middle of nowhere, and not loving it so much as it is in the middle of nowhere lol. The bedrooms are decent sizes and the bed is comfy - even with sharing it with DD2. Kids did say they miss our nice new bathroom, but this one is clean and works so not too bad. Wifi is a little hit and miss but that is fine as we are not here to be on devices all day. DD1's interview later today however is online so we need to find the best part of the house with the strongest signal for that.
All are still asleep but nothing new there. I am thinking we will spend the morning at the castle and then come home for interview and relaxing. Dinner bits already purchased so it will be a case of finding a nice spot in the garden (which is huge by the way) and relaxing. I expect there will be more games and that the hot tub will also be running later.Me, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

Yesterday we went to the castle which was lovely. I had to laugh as at the entrance were the prices to get in, which DD1 said 'surely were not paying that?', of course we are not we had a voucher to get in free lol. It was lovely and by the time we had climbed 149 steps to the top the view was fantastic. All 3 children enjoyed themselves (even if they say they didn't - I saw them smiling). We then found a lovely bakery nearby to grab a cake, and we headed back home for DD1 to have her zoom interview. She thinks it went well and will find out tomorrow. Going to be an emotional day tomorrow I reckon with exam results as well as possible job results. Either way with the job, she already has the previous offer to fall back on, so although she would like it, she isn't as desperate as before.
The rest of the day was spent playing games, relaxing and soaking in the hot tub. We made enchiladas and salad which was lovely.
Not 100% sure what today will hold - maybe the treasure trail - looks like it is going to be cloudy today but still warm. We might go out for dinner this evening, or maybe at lunch time and then have a cold tea tonight? Going to be a very unplanned day today I think.
