Well the chairs roll over to tomorrow or later in the week. In fact several things will roll over, but I did deliver my dads cushions as well as starting on the club raffle letter. I will get the letters out in the half term week. Maybe mums OH who likes walking can deliver some for me.
To do list for today:
* Chairs - needs to be done, just need to start
* T-shirt design and it looks good if I do say so
* Washing
* Meal plan
* Cooking bits ready for DD2's lesson
* Garden - the sun hasn't really made much of an appearance. The odd bit between the clouds but still warm ish
* Take pic of DS for pass
* Bits into the loft - might still get this done tonight as it is only 2 cat boxes and several bags with duvets in
Received energy statement from the energy company who I buy from. I still have £346.06 on my account going into the summer months, but am very aware that come the end of Nov my 'pre crazy energy crisis prices' contract rate finishes and costs will go up for me. I need to think about if I keep over paying or if I keep it in the bank ready for when I likely change providers to octopus possibly. I also gave them my meter reading for energy I sell from solar. We are now owed £51.40 which I will take out for our holiday treats.
One DD1 is home from her walk I will get in the loft and then the shower and early to bedMe, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

Just had a little look and energy would go from £90 a month to £205 a month. I realise that others have already had to deal with this issue but it is crazyMe, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

Benefits are due in a few days so I was able to look online at the new rate that I will be getting. I have also qualified for a reduction in council tax as the council are giving it to those on UC. Every little bit helps so have amended my money spreadsheet to allow for the changes.
About to go to club but updating before I forget! Work went super quickly today and I didn't even notice it was time to go home. Short day tomorrow as using TOIL then home to start tidying.
Been to opticians today for DS and as he never wears his current glasses and they are really weak we all decided there is no point currently in him getting new ones that will just sit in a drawer.
Right off to clubMe, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

On the way home we stopped off for quick jar of pasta sauce and on the counter was a book of walks around the local area. Just what I have been searching for. It is to go with Step dads t-shirt. Will package that up tomorrow maybe for when they arrive.
Just cashed out another £15 from surveys. This one will be turned into amazon vouchers for birthdays.
Off to watch some tv in bed and get an early nightMe, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

I am exhausted as haven't really stopped since I got home early from work. All chairs are now sorted, bits are in the loft, escape room bits are printed and put together ready and general tidying up has happened. Still not ready for visitors but getting there.
Have hidden xbox controllers as homework and revision are needed tonight for DS. He can still play on it later but work first.
Easy dinner of jacket potatoes with cheese and beans. DS will have mash as doesn't like jackets!
Once I have cleared away dinner I am going to treat myself to some tv and some cross stitch as I would like to catch up with my daily temperature piece.
Money is ticking along nicely although there have been lots of little bits this month that were not necessarily planned for. Money still in one of the pots but didn't think I would touch them as much.Me, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

Another day done. Just home from my exercise class and catching up with a few emails.
DS came home with a hole in his only pair of school trousers (seam has torn and showing off his underwear!). He has also informed me that most of his t-shirts from last and this year no longer fit him. He just keeps growing. He had shorts for the summer term last year so need him to dig those out and keep fingers crossed that they still fit. I bought a larger size than needed so he could grow into them, just like my mum always did for us. I think the clothing budget will take another hit next week (shoes already bought this month for him). Oh well it cant be helped.
Benefits payment tomorrow and then wages a week from today. Received the vouchers for Aldi from the schools this morning too which always helps with the ever growing food bill.
Cleaning still in progress for the visitors - children not really contributing so far. They know if left until the last min I become crazy woman shouting orders at them.
The builders are back and in full swing. Blocked in again before work - its going to happen every morning. They have informed me that there is a delivery on Friday afternoon, so I have arranged to meet a friend and not go home after work as I know I will get mad. I am hoping that after the school run they will all be gone for the day.
Anyway 2 days left of work before a week off which will be nice. Work has definitely picked up this past week and the good news I was given the other day has made it even better - better times are on their way hopefully.Me, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

Well good morning, had a sleep in this morning as the last few days have been full on with end of term, cleaning and visitors arriving. Its been lovely being able to sit outside in the sun. Summer dresses are out (sorry if the sun disappears soon because of me)
DS started his volunteer work yesterday. 9.30-4.00. He was exhausted by the end of it and a little sun burnt even though sun cream had been applied. He enjoyed it though and it wasn't just gardening, it was a bit of that as well as general maintenance. All good skills to learn. He has only just woken up so must have worn him out.
We have the day to ourselves and then BBQ at my brothers who are entertaining mum and partner today. Should be good as his bbq's are always tasty.
We do need to go food shopping though as are out of quite a number of basic things. so that I think is todays task. DD1 is off to the beach so she is out until later. I need to clear the pots in the garden and plant up my tomato plant dad dropped round, and then we need to get some lettuce planted and I got some runner beans that say can be sown up until May - well we are just about still there lol. We are already eating some home grown strawberries but lots left to ripen.
Mum bought me her old samsung watch to have and then her old phone. Spent a long time yesterday re installing all of my apps and trying to remember passwords and usernames! Will pass my fitbit onto my daughter as the one we got on freecycle didn't work. So another day of tech clearing and restarting.
Right the washing has just finished so off to hang that out. Have a great dayMe, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

Good afternoon on this sunny but still quite chilly bank holiday.
We have had a fairly lazy day so far. The children we only woken up once my sister came to visit, then we walked around the local lake. It is not a huge walk but we are all just so tired. DD1 has gone back to watch a film in bed and I'm sitting here trying to keep my eyes open. Could do with a day where we do absolutely nothing, but I don't think that will be happening any time soon.
I need to go to the supermarket as I've still not made it and the fruit bowl only contains a lemon. All treat bits have gone and the milk is nearly empty. We are out to dinner tonight and again on Wednesday so no need to buy real food as such as have enough food in freezer for the dinners. Just lunch and breakfast bits, plus shampoo needed. I'm going to quickly make a shopping list and then go. Can pick the clothes I ordered for DS up too and hope some of them fit and are acceptable to him.
Ok off I go.....maybe lolMe, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

Good morning, grey here today but hoping like yesterday that the sun will eventually pop its head out of the clouds. Off to take the children to the dentist this morning, although no one seems in a real rush at the moment.
Went out for a nice meal last night with mum and partner although was cut short as mum became unwell, so dropped her off home while the others enjoyed their puddings.
I did get to the shops and got most bits that we needed. Taking some clothes back to sainsburys today so will see if I can pick up the other bits we need.
We will probably end up at Tesco's too as the phone contracts are due shortly and DD1 is bugging me to upgrade nowMe, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

Hello, a few busy days we have had. Dentist went well on Tuesday and we did upgrade all children's phones so that is another thing off the list and they can all stop bugging me. The older 2 will probably have their own contracts next time around. Will see if they want the top ones then lol, not that they have this time. They have decent but cheap deals and the extra that I agreed I would pay, they are paying themselves.
Yesterday we had another meal out - I am really craving some simple food. Just a cheese sandwich would be lovely. Anyway today we are off to town and then I will do a cream tea and we have an online escape room to do. Mums OH will go for a good walk as it is not his thing. We also have badminton tonight. So tired already. The days have been full on rather than late nights.
Yesterday DS had a bad migraine, which seemed worse than the normal ones he gets. I spoke to the Dr and they said we were doing everything we could so far, but to book him in for an appointment once episode over. I will ring up and get that sorted today. Poor boy, it just came on almost instantly. We will keep a record of when they happen as I think they are becoming more frequent at the moment.
Right I must get moving as need to leave in 15 min. Fingers crossed the sun appearsMe, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19
