@charlies_tribe we are aiming for £300 this month with four of us but the kids are tiny and small appetites (5 and 2). I think you’re doing well to feed 6 inc 4 teens on £500!Part time working mum | Married in 2014 | DS born 2015 & DD born 2018

Thank you joedenise and bluegreen (I read your diary, your meals always sound so healthy). The younger 2 aren't quiet teens yet (13 next month and 11 but both can eat as much as the boys). We are usually closer to £600 on food so this month will be fun.
I have a delivery booked for next weekend so want to see how close I can get using up the freezer contents and not sending DH to pick bits up on his way home.

Hi all, Happy New Year! Just checking in to say I am going to try and not spend anything until a week today as I think I have everything I need for now. It's just mindless supermarket shopping if I do go and spend money and it's a habit I really need to get out of! So hopefully the £140 budget for this month is still intact until the 8th and I'll assess if I need anything then.5

This seems a lot compared to others but I can't seem to get it lower. I'm feeding 6, 2 adults and 4 teens (2 boys at 15 and 17) and now they are home for another 2 weeks they will plough through food. I also have to order online due to my anxiety so don't manage to get any of the bargains.
Really need to look through the recipes and find some quick filling meals, fed up of the same every week.
I collect from a local Mr T and distribute it, it helps so many local folk out and helps me keep my spends low.Grocery Challenge 2024

Hi all, I'd like to try annually this year, please can you put me down for £2750 for the year. This will be for eight of us 5 adults and 3 children, for most meals. Three adults sometimes eat at work or buy their own (though not often). We grow our own pork, lamb and some fruit/veg, also our own eggs. This will be tight but I think achievable. Hi, I really need to get to grips with my grocery budget so would love to join this month! Please may you put me down for £240 this month. There’s just 2 adults plus 2 working collies so will be including all their raw food too. It's better to beg forgiveness than ask permission.7
