Many thanks for the new thread @elslepac. I took the opportunity to finish my 2021 spread sheet today as it has rained most of the time. Looking at the way I buy food I've decided a yearly budget would suit me better. So please could you put me down for...
£3317 for 2021 thank-you

Count me in again please. Dropping to £380 from £400, as DD1 and GD still eating here at the moment and she's only buying the odd thing. As I said that if we don't have it in and she wants something different then she needs to buy it, but until she is officially in her flat I will try and support them as best I can. I will adjust accordingly, once there are two of us again.
Hope everyone had a nice Christmas, despite all the restrictions.
My 2021 challenge started on the 26th of December despite being paid early. I think next payday will be the 26th as normal, so this month will end on the 25th.

Hi could I be counted in for just January please? I aim to spend no more than £200 for this month. Thank you.7

Hey I spent another £40+ this week to get "proper meals in" . I rounded the shopping to £47 , leaving me with £173.00 .
We found that we had at least 2 extra meals we could make or use up ... to my husband's surprise which is helpful .
Last nights tea we had hot dogs in tiger bread rolls and onion chutney inside the rolls. We had this with chips and beans
Wasn't a planned meal but very delicious 😋

New to this but I’m going for £190/month. I have a chest freezer and small freezer crammed with food right now and lots of store cupboard items so first couple months should be easy. First time for doing this.7

Waves, I didn't do December, intentionally as work is manic in December and I knew I'd be shopping for Christmas presents amongst it all and buying food for Christmas for dad and myself - I paid for the turkey, duck and did two lasagnes whereas he's paid for a rib of beef and a leg of lamb for instance. Back to normality shortly though there is plenty in the freezer and I need to remember to use some of the stuff in there.
Going to stick with £125. It's comfortable, doesn't challenge but keeps it accountable. Just me.
£125 please.7 -

HiCan you please put me down for £375.
Currently spend £400 a month so it's slightly less than current. I do have a freezer full of meat so my aim is to come In less than this, but I don't want to beat myself up too bad if I wander off plan!!
