Thank you for the thread, I have been reading along but really need to join in this year. I have a budget that fluctuates a fair bit but I really need to stick to a strict one now. Therefore my budget is £140 per month (sorry, I don't know how to make it bigger or underline it
) and this includes normal groceries, monthly veg box from milkman and cat food, litter and treats. Household items such as cleaning and toiletries will come under another budget. This is for 1 adult (me), my DD who is with me every two weeks (and is going to University in September
all being well) and three cats. Many thanks lovely people

Thanks for the thread. I'm in again for January with a budget of £250 again. This is for just supermarket food/ toiletries spends. Alcohol and bulk buys have their own budgets.

Oh lovely new thread - thank you @elsiepac - We are sure to have lots of new people so welcome to you!
I am going for my annual budget of £3000.00 again but I am going to have a little contingency pot of £500 to allow for tariffs or delays if we endure most of the year with no trade deal with the EU (because lots of my preferred things are European).
My budget is £200 per month, except December £400, and £400 for storesSo please could you show this as £3,000 (+£500c) for the year?
Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)

Hello everyone, I've joined the Save in £12k gang and it was highly recommended that I join here too! I already know grocery shopping is something I need to tackle and should be able to make massive savings! So, as the cupboards, fridge and freezer are currently rammed I'm aiming to spend no more than £120 for January's budget (this is for me and my youngest who still lives at home, has hollow legs and never puts an ounce on!). This will cover all grocery shopping including alchohol and toiletries.8

Hi everyone, please could I join? I'm aiming for £400
for a family of 5, 1 dog, 1 cat and 2 guinea pigs.
