What about those working Christmas Day?

It appears that she was wearing a mask at the funeral, was leaving, took it off, and then got called back and forgot to put it back on. I cannot claim to be a supporter of hers, but it does seem pointless to get exercised over it, when she has apologised and was very cross with herself for an inadvertent slip we all might make. (Looking at recent research, there are grave doubts as to whether cloth masks stop more than a trivial percentage of virus passing through, either in or out.)2

One of parent's friends in her 70's is spending Christmas day with family. This will involve 5 households including 2 people travelling down from Scotland and staying overnight.
Less bending the guidance, and more driving a coach and horses through it.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
My parent's neighbours are in 70s and 80s, on Sunday the husband went for vaccination, was picked up by daughter in law's partner, oh yes and the daughter in law, oh yes and for good measure the 70 odd year old wife tagged along for the ride.elsien said:One of parent's friends in her 70's is spending Christmas day with family. I hope the same people don't expect to have priority for supermarket delivery slots if they are forced to self-isolate or catch COVID.elsien said:One of parent's friends in her 70's is spending Christmas day with family. They may get stopped at the border as there are police patrols covering it.elsien said:One of parent's friends in her 70's is spending Christmas day with family. This will involve 5 households including 2 people travelling down from Scotland and staying overnight.

As much as I am no fan of Sturgeon I really can not blame her for this, we all make small mistakes and this was obviously not a deliberate breach of the rules. She made a genuine mistake, min a situation where is put no one at risk and has apologised, that is hugely different to those have chosen to deliberately break the rules over a sustained period of time, or done it in a way that is so idiotic that one has to question their entire mentality.4
