Thankyou @Bluegreen143. Now my wages will be lower and the tax credits Lower than expected so monthly income considerably reduced I think the target of paying off £7600 of debt will be very ambitious but I'm going going stick with it and hope for the best. Hopefully I can make some extra money somewhere along the line.

@mumtoomany when do we come out of lockdown. I have the radio on all day but rarely catch the news on TV and haven't managed managed hear when we are coming out of it or when it is being reviewed.  Ah nice. We have eaten most of the Xmas food now as we didn't buy too much this year.

Happy new year to you all. I've not long got home from work. Mother nature turned up today after 3 and a half months of no show (I have the good old rod in my arm) and I'm absolutely knackered tbh. Doesn't help I was really unsettled last night and you every hour finally gave up at 5.30 this morning and just got out of bed in the end. My whole body aches. I'm going to keep an eye on it and make a note for when I see the neurologist hoping everytime  she shows its not going to set me back. Everytime the glands in my neck swell or I have a slight cold or any illness I seem to get knocked back so I'm assuming it's related. The chronic pain (I'm on pain relief throughout the night aswell now since all this happened in sept) and the severe fatigue along with not sleeping well is just all too much sometimes. But I also remind myself of how lucky I am to be alive to live life even if it is restricting sometimes and how lucky I am to be in my children's life after loosing a good friend last year who was only 1 year older than me and left 2 kids age 10 and 6 at the time without a mum it really has put life into prospective. I miss her. Sbe was an amazing lady.  She taught me and showed me so much.  So yes despite the struggles with my cerebral palsy, bipolar and whatever else is going on. I also feel so very fortunate. I have more than one could ever wish for, I have more than most. And as long as I have my kids and partner and my family a roof Over our heads and a meal we are so blessed and so fortunate.

Anyway ill update tomorrow with money update.

Have an amazing 2021 everyone. I wish you all good health, peace and prosperity.. for those that need it I send you strength, hugs, positivity and love God bless you all my beautiful friends xx I really hope 2021 unfolds a fabulous year for you all

Sending ((hugs)) and wishing you better health and happiness for the New Year.  XX
    I Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present.

happiness isn't achieved by getting extra things,
but by getting rid of the things that make you unhappy
  • Happy new year! I love your positive attitude. I hope 2021 is happy and successful for you x

  • Good morning my beautiful diary friends,

Thankyou @Four_Seasons , @Chrystal and @Bluegreen143 happy new year to you all

Not feeling great today so I'm going to list 5 things to do that hopefully won't make me feel worse
    So today I will
    1. List 5 items for sale.
    2. Do surveys
    3. Laundry on airers
    4. Tip run (the more I can take to the tip the less likely I'll have to pay to rent a skip)
    5. Pick up prescription and order dds prescription

I have also used my wages (second pay this month due to being paid 4 weekly) and the tc payment that we wernt expecting and I've made a payment to very of £1,058.60p leaving a remaining balance of £810.76p (sat here wondering if I'll be able to make 76p in surveys today so I can get it too a nice even number 😆
    (Will update first page)
    Have a good day everyone
Hugs love positivity and prayers to you all x

Hi, mumof3. Sorry I've not heard when we'll be back out of lockdown. I don't think there has been an announcement yet. Here in the South the numbers are high, DD1 being asked to work extra hours. (A&E doc). I think it will be a few more weeks at least.
Sorry to hear that you are under the weather again. I really admire your positivity. Well done also on paying the very bill. Over half cleared in one go!
Have you got snow there yet? We woke to it this morning. Grandchildren very happy. They've built a snowman and been on Tadcu's (Welsh for grandad) sled. Made from parts of an old plastic barrel and a plank of wood. All three can ride it at once, but heavy to pull! Snowing again now.
I'm sorry to hear about your friend, so sad when children lose parents. I lost a good friend with bipolar a few years ago, she left a young son. Every day is precious.
Hope you have a good new year, speak soon, mumtoomany.

  • @mumtoomany thank you! It will be the biggest payment I make in one go for a long time now.
Glad you are okay.. aww bless them. We had snow a few days ago but nothing since. Sorry to hear about your friend. Its such a cruel illness. I'm very fortunate that my meds work well and my partner knows my very early signs of things changing so I've kept good tabs on it 99% of the time xx

  • I've made the 76p in surveys this morning.  But I can't withdraw it from PayPal because its less than a £1 so I'll try to do some more and the few pence extra I'll send to the loan

Okay so I had £3.45 in my plum account which j have withdrawn so I'll send 76p to very and £2.69 to the loan
Okay so I've done the above.. I'll update posts on first page

Just to update ie budget. Tc have updated our claim again. We will receive another extra payment in January but our payments from Feb onwards are reduced by another £75 a month. I've just adjusted our budget on the spreadsheet. But this basically means we need to be very careful not to overspend otherwise quite honestly we will end up in the !!!!!!.

So we will now be living as frugal as possible to get this debt paid off (and so we are able to make small extra payments to the debt) I don't want this debt any longer than I need to. And I still need to save for some work we need doing on the house.
🙏 that we can find some extra cash from somewhere to help us on our journey from February onwards
