Good morning my beautiful diary friends.
I hope you are all okay.

Thankyou for the love and hugs.
Saw gp yesterday got a plan sorted regarding trying to find out what's wrong. We have a good idea but need to have a scan to confirm if our theory is correct. In the meantime I've been told to take it easy and not over do it.

I didn't set a target for this week. So I'll set one now. Due to everything that has been going on I have decided to strip right back to the basics and get those things in line before I work on other stuff and I'll build it back up over time. So my goal for the next few weeks is too set a good sleep routine. Trying to burn the candle at both ends is killing me 🤦‍♀️

So that's my only personal goal for this week and next week.

On the money front the goals are simple and as they have always been. Stick to budget, stick to our debt free plan. And carry on decluttering the house selling and giving away as much as possible.

We signed the paperwork this week for our £500 gov bonus the manager said we should receive it by September.  (Fingers crossed)

I need to order school uniform for the new school year. When ds1 first started school i use to buy all new uniform every year. But now I just replace what needs replacing and is getting too small.
I also need to go through all the kids clothes as they have all had growth spurts. But again I'm keeping it minimal and only replacing what's needed. Ill search the local charity shops and fb pages before I buy new (undies will obviously be new)

Also shoes need sorting, so this week my declutter and sort goal will be clothes and shoes

    Have a fab day everyone

I've just filled out my annual leave requests upto Feb 2023 😂  I'm hoping that next year and 2023 we can have lots of mini breaks away.

My main goal for clearing the debt as well as better financial security is so we can have more breaks away.

Just wanted to stop by as a fellow former MFWer and say hi   My DD is starting secondary in September so dreading the mass buying of uniform and kit! I've found a couple of PE tops on FB marketplace but not much else 2nd hand unfortunately. I've worked out it'll be at least £350 all in (including shoes, trainers and footie boots) :grimace:
    Choose kind:)
  • Hi @Hazelnutty, yes high school is much more expensive.. luckily we have a good community here who sell on there outgrown items. So I'll be checking fb first before I order new. Also with lockdown etc alot of the uniforms have hardly been worn this year.

Up early this morning. I kept waking up so got up at 5 in the end.

Had breakfast. Messaged some family members to make sure they are okay.

Will get some stuff listed on fb this morning. I'll aim for 10 items. I just need them gone out the house. What hasn't sold in a week will be listed free to collector.

Will go to the park this morning if the weather stays dry

  • Good evening my beautiful diary friends, I hope you are all well.

    Spends week this week.

Finally found a patio set that has delivery for August cost £160

Ohs birthday presents cake etc £220

Pool and bubble machine for the garden £50

It's day 1 of the summer holidays for us today.

Spent the morning messing about with boxes pretending to be robots. Kids laughed so much.

Went out for the afternoon to elan valley £2.50 spent on parking and probably cost around £5 in fuel. Took food and drinks with us so a lovely cheap day out. Kids said they had a great time

We then came home and watched a film

Overall a brilliant day. Happy Kids = happy parents

We have lots of ideas for over the holidays so really looking forward to it 😀
