Update spends since the beginning of the month

    One takeaway £20
    Food shop £60
Books £40 (not essential but my mental health isn't in a good place so a little self care is needed) already on chapter 4 of one of them and they only came this morning
    Vitamins £20

Okay so we have had some non essential spends but it's okay.

    I've updated our debt Total.
I'll just explain. My car goes back in July. I've decided to buy a 'cash' car. But my car has some damage that I'll have to pay for. So I've left (hopefully more than enough) in savings to pay for the repairs / charges. And this loan (loan 2) will be cleared by the end of the year. See page one for our new debt breakdown.

We still aim to be debt free by our original debt free date.

Books are essential, no explanation needed! And the food shop total is impressively low ⭐️
Have a lovely weekend, I hope you have time to enjoy many more chapters 📖

  • Hi @WinterWarrior sorry i thought I had replied to you.

Brought a car yesterday. So at least that is sorted now paid £4000 for the car. Also sorted the tax, insurance and breakdown cover. Total came to £550 I've paid for it all in full so no monthly direct debit.  Filled her up which was £45. Intrigued to see how long a tank of fuel will last. Mot is due next April.

I'd like to get some seat covers to keep the seats protected and a few other bits like first aid kit etc.

No other spends other than a food shop which was about £70.

Will try to keep you all posted regularly on how things are going.

Should have the bill through soon for the roof.

    Have a lovely day everyone

Love hugs positivity and prayers to you all

    Hello my beautiful diary friends,
i hope you are all well.
    spends today,
got ds2 a new phone. his has given up  so £60 spent there. its preloved, and will do everything he needs it too.
also spent £100 in tesco DP is in desperate need of some clothes. and i brought some school uniform bits and a new recipe book.
£100 spent on amazon. car seat covers and seat belt pads, phone holder with built in wireless charger (i use my phone to listen to go0gle maps alot and i like to listen to ebooks or pod casts sometimes and my charging port is dodgy already so id prefer to charge it wirelessly like i do at home. also got a phone case for ds1s new phone, and the first book of the recipe book i brought from tesco, ive wanted the first one for a long time but kept putting off buying it.

overall a very expensive day with most of the purchases non essential. but sometimes we all need a little treat. ds1 mobile although not really essential is important to me as he walks to and from school  and it means he can let me know when he gets there and when he leaves.

i have 5 days off work between now and next sunday. my main goal is to declutter and get stuff sold. my other goal is too finish reading my book ive started, and start some of my online courses. i also have a course book i need to finish for work.

    so
    finish book for work
    finish reading book ive started
    make £50 selling stuff
    declutter 100 items
finish 2 units of online course

the recipe book i bought was the feed a family for £20 in a hurry ... the amazon one i got was feed your family for £20

ill update on how the recipies go .... that reminds me i need to go through the freezer ...

oh i almost forgot, updated the spreadsheet budget for when the new loan payment starts going out the account.

also shuffled some money about and sent £500 to debt !
    have a lovely evening everyone

    Quick daily update.

Took dd (4) to have her hair cut today.  She had it washed and blow dried too as a little treat. She really enjoyed it ☺

I can't belive She was just a few months old when I first started my diaries

She's also named our new car daisy... I'm hoping I can keep her (the car) on the road until ds1 does his lessons (only 4.5 years away 😱) and then ill gift it too him probably when he passes his test. Or at least allow him to use it.

    No other spends today 😀

    Have a lovely evening everyone.
