I have the microchip catflap, but they do a variety for different locations. However, having a catflap doesn't stop the weather sulks!2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

Another item has left the building £10 kerching.
Spent the morning shopping and cleaning for "the parrot" went stores early, only to find pet store not open until 10, so killed time and spent money in B$M and £stretchers, then couldn`t get the food I needed, so made do, the parrot seems to like it, scrubbed her cage, took some juggling to restrict her to top of the cage while I scraped the bottom, gross job, dried off with dog towel, which has left the building into the bin,Do I need it or just want it.10 -
Thank you for the welcome back MrsSD
This time I'm on a roll with my cleaning schedule.
I have a list of daily tasks. I tidy, wipe, and polish each room. My hob and kitchen surfaces get special attention.
Mondays I fully clean and sort cupboards etc in my bedroom and ensuite.
Tuesdays I do bedroom 2 with its ensuite.Wednesdays I just do daily tasksThursdays I do bedroom 3 which I use as an officeFridays I do the hall and bathroomSaturdays I do my main room which is open plan so the kitchen as well, and a tiny utility room, very small but has the washing machine, dryer and boiler in.
Sundays I just do daily tasks.
I didn't get everything done on Monday so did it on Tuesday. A double whammy. Then yesterday I forgot I was only on daily tasks and I did all of Thursdays cleaning (which was the office day) which is how l ended up sorting out lots of paperwork. And today, I did Friday's cleaning, so I'm still a day ahead!
I think lockdown is getting to me!
Sorry for the marathon message. I'm here on my own with too much time on my hands.
Only 5 oddments declutteted so far today. I have loads ready to go to charity shops that I will count when they leave the house.
The other thing I've decluttered since last July is 2 stone! Not Rachmaninov
But Nyman

Good Afternoon Lovely people, thank you for your encouraging messages - I was really struggling yesterday! Thanks also for gold star (Mrs SD) & hilarious pic
(moneyonmymind) ! I've woke up today feeling a lot brighter - yes definitely important to remember "this too shall pass" - vicky - think I will write that on my whiteboard in my little office... Talking of which, thought I'd post a picture of my teeny tiny office as I am quite proud of it now its completed .... (would you believe that simple looking desk would take hours to assemble and need pages of instructions!). Hugs to everyone who needs them today

Absolutely love the desk, well worth putting together
I have acres of my late mum's paperwork out which has brought me to a halt, I miss her so much so I will sort it out in stages and just do as much as I can face. Hopefully it will make it easier the next time I need a document.
I know she would say "just take a match to it babe and don't worry about all that" 😂🤣😁

Decided to crack the last of the xmas walnuts, shells now in the bin. I wanted to reuse them on the garden but it seems they are toxic to some plants. The actual nuts await being made into a coffee and walnut cake if we can stop snacking on them every time we walk past the container
Out also today a plastic pot and it's lid as it smelt of disinfectant (?) a pair of Sunday socks and the remnants of the box from some xmas chocs, made those last
Also in the recycling a sweetener tablet thing, coffee jar, milk carton and orange juice carton. Decluttered some mince pies, found in the freezer into our tummies.....yum !
Energyshifter how lovely and fresh the office looks, worth all your hard work.Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently12 -

Managed to get a sack of shredding ready from paperwork sort. Still have more to do but all the "what I may need or important paperwork" is down to a small suitcase. Brain is fried so stopped for today.
Got tomorrow's meals from the chicken so will just be a reheat so nice and easy.
I didn't clean as planned other than usual washing up and recycling out so maybe I will catch up tomorrow.
