Morning all hope everyone is well. Awful weather here today but Already managed to get rid of a big plastic box and a picture out of the bedroom of doom hopefully the bin men take it away. Trying to make sure I have breakfast every day as that's the one meal I will happily miss and I'm trying to get rid of some lbs. Havent got a plan for the day but hopefully get some stuff done after dreaded home schooling, you would think at 12 she would be able to just get on with it but apparently not lol. Hope everyone has a good day
Edited to add another bag done and more of the bedroom discovered!vanquis £630/£3019 Robinson way £1207.41/1682.41

Afternoon folks, what a lot of decluttering and cleaning since I last posted!!
Over the last few days, I have decluttered:
25 things into green bin
1 empty Baileys bottle (after decluttering the rest of the contents into me!)
6 empty beer bottles/jam jars
1 bin bag full of random rubbish
2 boxes veggie fingers from the freezer for a quick tea
3 small cartons soup from the freezer for tonight's tea
1 humongous pile of emails (2003!!)
Christmas stuff is away in the attic now and I still need to take photos of the attic as "before" evidence!
A xo

Gosh, you step away for five minutes...
I have been derailed for the last couple of days by a teething baby and a non sleeping toddler. However, I have caught up!
Days 11, 12, 13 of the Minimalists Challenge (=36 items)
21 items from the Dolls House Furniture box chucked - this is the last of them and I have used the box to store:
21 items of crockery which someone is coming to pick up at 4pm.
plus 3 jars of marmalade and 3 books to various homes, and a yoga ball I've been trying to freecycle for months!
Day 13: 91/465

1. KITCHEN WILL CONTINUE TO BE LEFT CLEAN & TIDY EVERY NIGHT2. JUST DO ONE THING EVERY DAY (courtesy of bit_by_bit) OTHER THAN DAY TO DAY CLEANING & DECLUTTERING
3. CLEAN ONE ROOM (TOP TO BOTTOM) EVERY MONTH (hopefully 3 weekly by the end of the year)Wednesday is a dark, dreary damp day ☹️ and according to DH it will be the driest day for a week ☹️ I was up early but only put on my cuddly dressing gown which led to me slobbing about or should that be snuggling up on the sofa 😉😉 watching recorded TV programmes until about 4:00 p.m. 😞 The hm soup was zizzed & taste tested - little lacking in depth so added Worcestershire sauce - lifted the taste so DH & I had a bowl each. I then got dressed. My sofa cover & a few T-shirts have been washed & the sofa cover is now in the td.DSis went back to doctors for a blood test. Now a tale of duplicity 😉 We had our first ever delivery of meat from a butchers with a name more appropriate to cheese delivery 😂 It needed portioning but I didn’t really fancy doing it 😉 So I called up the stairs & asked DH if he wanted coffee. Obviously the answer was yes so down he came. I then asked for assistance 🤣 DH got to do the bulk of the work whilst I bagged, labelled & stacked in the empty spots I had arranged in the freezers 🙂 Halfway through the task, my DH being a very intelligent man (after all he married me 😉) called me “duplicitous” 🤣 Then to add insult to injury, he made the coffees 🤣
100 Meat packaging - binned
101 - 102 Bag of woolcool transferred to shed for use in garden, freezer gel packs put in garage - Repurposing
Great work TC77 👏 we are playing cat & mouse with our numbers 😉
Thank you ScarletRibbons 👏 I so love reading family tales 🙂 sounds like your parents are great declutterers 😉😉Nice to see you 2Scratters 👋 Really enjoyed reading your post & very impressed that you read the thread 👏 I like your approach, one item a day plus when visiting the loft bringing something down 👏 A ‘Things Done’ rather than a ‘Things To Do’ list 🤔 I will have to give that some thought 😉
Good for you elsien 👏👏 I do dislike bullies 😠Great work lynnsey30 👏

Thanks for my medal @Mrs_Salad_Dodger, I am honoured.
Today going to a friend for a birthday lunch, she is in my bubble, so spent the morning decluttering kitchen cupboards, 3 out of 4 top cupboards done, 2 big base ones tomorrow, hoping to sort my plastics to a more accessable cupboard.Do I need it or just want it.11 -
Solid wifing there @Mrs_Salad_Dodger!!10

b/f 7/365 things
Sent two lots of 'bear cards' to other families collecting them, 2 things
Threw a box of broken electricals out, 1 thing
Disposed of a couple of tins of dried up paint, 1 thing
There's some more piles of 'to rehome' in the garage but I'm not counting them until they are out of the door!
Bringing my total to 11/365, slightly behind the days of the year but hoping to regain an advantage at the weekend!10 -
52-54: Some thoroughly unenjoyable frozen vegetables retired.
55-95: items flung or recycled from a box in the far corner of the bathroom. (I live in an attic with eaves and the depths are a great place to store and lose things...‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

My target to declutter something every week is still on track.
Week 2 4-10/1 - some poster paints and colouring books taken to school. The bottom of 2 old 1 litre shampoo bottles (too low for pump to work) were decanted into a liquid soap dispenser and we are using it as soap. Made up cards from an old craft box and used as Christmas thank yous.
Week 3 11-17/1 - a large bag of games / toys, that my children have grown out of, given to after school club.Decluttering target:
Beauty product - 11/52, last item - bubble bath used while I shaved legs, 2 conditioners sachets from used hair dye boxes
Play room - 41/52, last item -
Clothes - 23/52, last item -
Food - 13/52, last item -12
