Apologies for taking so long to get back but I have just watched Paddington for the very first time 🙂nannywindow how satisfying to get all that out whilst it was dry 🥳 How very lovely that your home is so welcoming that everyone wants to stay 👏 Must say I nearly fell off the sofa when I read that it was going to be your last post ever 😱 because I thought your post ended with the New Year greeting (I read my iPad in landscape) Scrolled down a bit further & breathe - I will see you aboard the 2022 EDT 🥳 Btw thank you for the drumroll 👏Siebrie I did smile - decluttering by stealth 😉 Ouch to the new energy contract 😣 seems a rather steep jump 😖 See you on the 2022 EDT 😉
Excellent work Blackberrycurved 👏 hope you have some rabbit & gammon pie left - I will pop in when the 2022 EDT stops to collect you 😉😉 The only trouble with spending Christmas in just your underwear is that you have to turn up the heating - not very MSE 😂🤣Excellent work short_bird 👏 As you have exceeded your target by more than 500, I am awarding you a Gold Star ⭐️ Don’t forget to leave yourself something to do in 2022 😉😉Great work Finstickle 👏 See you aboard the 2022 EDT 👋Perfect time to replace your steam cleaner StickyTheStickInsect 🙂
Good work TC77 👏 With everything being £1 it would have been rude not to buy a few things from the CS 🙂 See you aboard the 2022 EDT 🙂
What a great day’s work vulpix 👏 Very impressed that you are using up your stash of presents bought during the year 🙂👏 I can see that you are absolutely determined to spend as little as possible during 2022 - Martin would be proud 👏 Shame your DH has to work ☹️ but then again he would probably get under your feet whilst you were trying to prep/cook all your party food for NYD 🙃 See you on the 2022 EDT 🙂No need to apologise balabooberlies 🙂 Many of our decluttering family are having a final spurt before hopping on to the 2022 EDT 😉 See you there 🙂

So looking forward to seeing you all, my friends, on the EDT - such a nice ring to those initials.
You, Mrs SD have been our rock throughout this year, encouraging and supporting us all.
I love reading all the posts, even though I don't post that often. No need to buy an expensive magazine when we have this forum.
TC77 , you are very wise - contentment is what I wish for in 2022, for myself and for us all.
And everyone, keep very safe.Rx9 -

how rude of me...........forgot to thank Mrs S.D.............really from my heart.
It's been a tough awful year for me. I am still reeling from it all. In the old days ..........I would have given up which is partly how I got into this mess. All too overwhelming.
Because of Mrs S.D. and all of you incredible people I now have a technique that I am becoming very familiar with (like with like), have less trepadition with frogs and generally can see a light at the end of the tunnel. I have a plan !
Retired in France, I love your posts. Thank you for reminding me of my manners.
Thank you all
Happy New Year

Doing laundry today as it appears to be unlucky to do it on New Year's Day (also, my work uniform needs washing, am back in on Sunday)

Last posting of the year - I’m still pinching myself, can’t believe this is all real! For the first time ever I came back to an immaculate home, an empty laundry bin, no pile of mail and enough food in the cupboards and freezer to not have to worry 😃 I unpacked immediately and, I am not going to lie, I’m already planning more trips 😂😂 what is the point of having this excellent gear if I’m not going to get good use out of it.The weather was excellent while I was away and, I’m so impressed with the way things fell into place. I was very disorientated because of the darkness but I managed to navigate to Hallgrimskirkja and was treated to spectacular panoramic views of Reykjavik from the Bell tower as the sun came up - or as the darkness lifted 🤷♀️It was breathtakingly beautiful - I felt my inner Viking 😂😂Goals for 2022 include more trips, more hiking, more sustainable living, more money saving, more carbon offsetting, better habits.
I’m wishing everyone a clutter-free, and happy, New Year! Set yourself a reward and let your imagination run wild - don’t get bogged down by ‘stuff’ 😃20 -
