2354-2355: 2 batteries to battery recycling bag
2356-2360: 5 items to bin
2361-2364: 2 binbags out, 2 bags of mixed recycling out. Didn't have enough hands for the paper recycling
Back at work this evening for 6, finish at 11. Then in Thursday evening, off Friday which is followed by a 5 or 6 day stretch depending on shift allocations, me not getting pinged or testing positive and, of course, entertainment venues remaining open.

Monday is a dark, overcast & wet day. DH & I were both up by 9:30 a.m. 🥳 DH as he was off to donate blood & start his ‘project’ of using all the tube lines & stepping off the train & taking a photo of each tube station sign before continuing on. (The joy of a 60+ Oystercard - free travel on TFL services 👏) I was up to put the 36 hour marinaded brisket into the oven to slow cook for several hours - it has been in for 3 hours so far & smells gorgeous 😋 We will be having this for dinner tonight with mash & cabbage 😋 Will continue writing Christmas cards once I have finished this post.
Excellent work villagelife 👏
You are welcome florianatwobob 🙂 Very successful decluttering as you already have rooms that are under maintenance decluttering 👏
Wow you have been very busy 2Scratters 🤩 Your ‘decluttering eye’ is well & truly working 👏 Fingers crossed you only have the one mouse 🤞
Wednesday2000, As long as you are applying the ‘one in, one out rule’ then you can still frequent the CS 😉
Excellent decluttering Siebrie 👏 Surely you must be running out of items to send to Africa - apart from the husband 😉😉 I am very impressed with all your preparations for the festive season 👏 When I was a child, my Sunday School teachers were nuns so I probably didn’t learn as much as I should have 😔 Pleased to see that one of your Justins came in useful 🙂

Last year, one of his friend turn 60, so they both now travel together. Last week they went to Crystal Palace. Next week, they are off to Oxford - £15 return for both of them (£7.50 each) and of course, pay nothing to get to London. His challenge at the moment is to visit all the Wetherspoons in Greater London. So, last week, when I had a morning meeting near Penge he met me and we stopped at the 'spoons' for lunch.2025 Fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons

Gosh so much decluttering and hard work going on. Realise while I need to do physical decluttering my many headed and complex frogs will be the focus into next year
so will increase my target next year. Feel not proper decluttering although will end with paper and electronic clutter going in the end.
Bag of things at my dad's taken to CS, and some binned 2169-2170
2 items returned and letter handed into bank 2173

Monday continued with plenty of rain & some hail 😱 DSis is feeling better but her arm still aches ☹️ DH’s blood donation didn’t happen - they need a letter from his doctor confirming he is OK to donate blood despite his atrial fibrillation 😔 However he did do the first trip of his new hobby - out to Stanmore & back to Stratford but caught wrong DLR train & ended up at Woolwich Arsenal. He was out for 5 hours & got wet several times 😔 I have completed my 1p Savings Challenge 🥳 now I just have to decide what to spend the money on 🙂 I have written, addressed & stamped the Christmas cards for friends - will post the whole pile tomorrow. I ended up cooking the brisket for 6.5 hours 😉 & it was melt in the mouth. Eaten with mash, cabbage & carrots - plates were licked 😉😋 Wudupa.2213 - 2214 Kitchen recycling, glass bottle - recycled

I LOVE this......making something out of something. Think of all those experiences. I have always wanted to visit each town on the tube map but not there yet ! I am a Londoner that only knows my tiny little bit.
I am cheering your husband on....

That is interesting about visiting all the tube stations. I have had free travel in London for years now and never thought to do anything like that.
I am actually going to lose my free travel after I move house so I probably won't ever be able to ever do that. Thinking about that I tend to go to the same few tube stations all the time when I go out socially. North Greenwich the most.
I called a couple of chazzers yesterday and they are accepting donations. Phew. My husband took two bags of clothes and books today with him to drop off.

Hi, some amazing decluttering happening. Hats off for persistence. I think that is the key to getting anywhere with decluttering unless you have someone to do it for you like those TV shows. I would like those shows to revisit a year later to see how things are. My thoughts are that if you declutter yourself, you would fare better than if someone did it for you.
Best wishes for those feeling under the weather.
I have been awol , working a little and just because I am not decluttering much and feel like I am a bit of a fraud here now. Imposter syndrome.
Mrs SD, or anyone else interested, do you have Instagram?
Free underground travel ,bonus. A great thing for Mr SD to do. Years ago my friends brother and his mate travelled John o Groats to Lands End with their free bus pass.
I have half painted the bench. The underneath and legs half! I have almost finished a harlequin patchwork cushion with leftover tweed and velvet. This fabric is never ending from the curtain shortening. I have made a blanket, Christmas stockings and cushion and there is still some left! The curtains were £2 from a chazzer and the tweed was a £1 kilt also from the chazzer. Hours of fun for £3. Ideas welcome for how to use it up. Possibly Christmas tree decorations.
Craft club today and then I need to get my finger out this week and finish the bench, make clementine and chilli jam, clean the house and put Christmas decorations up. I have bought a few vegan nibbles for my visitors and that is it. No cards written. Not even any lists written !!!!
MIL still in hospital.
