28 – 31. 4 yankee candle wax melts (still in wrappers) – CS

32. tree storage bag – binned (it ripped)

33. broken glass – binned

34. 2 cracked takeaway tubs – recycled

35 – 36. Wall lights – freecycled

37. Lever arch file’s worth of business paperwork recycled/ shredded

38. Old personal bank statements – shredded

39. gel Xmas decorations (discoloured or torn) – binned

40. magnetic word board (total tat) – binned

41. too big jeans – CS

42. pile of filing done/ shredded/ recycled

43. old paperwork removed from files – recycled/ shredded

44. 1 jar of chutney (gift) given to my mum

45. laptop – donated to a friend

46. cardboard boxes – broken up and recycled

47. box of Xmas tealights approx. 3yo – used

48. part pack of Xmas serviettes at least 6yo! – used up 😊

49. several dried up pens – binned

50. bag of old batteries – recycled at s’mkt

The only thing I've managed to decluttered today is DS1 water bottle. He came down to make it while doing his college work and I could see all the green mouldy slime all over the inside of the bottle 🤢🤢
How he's been drinking out of that every day and not said anything or put it in dishwasher I'll never know.

Didn't manage to get much done today other than the basics cooking tea etc. Just been one of those days I guess so will try and get today's jobs done tomorrow

A pair of boots sold and posted today. A chair has been sold and should be picked up on Saturday. I will class the boots and the chair as one bag with the chair being a big item. Will wait till it is picked up on Saturday x

I’ve had a very chilled out day today. We’ve made pancakes, done jigsaws, built a den and baked cakes. Usually on my day off I’m trying to fit in as much tidying and cleaning as I can because Ive neglected everything, but not today! I only had one floor I needed to sweep and the stairs to hoover.  It’s definitely made me want to continue with this! Hope everyone has had a good day xx

Feeling much brighter today thankfully - the weather helped.  As much as its been lovely having DS stay & I was sad to see him go, it's actually quite nice to get back into my routine and have a little more headspace!   I was working today but had time to clean DS' room and put the finishing touches to my little upstairs office.  I also went for a lovely walk with my cousin.  Discovered that I'd put on a kilo over Christmas - something I'd like to declutter as soon as possible.

I've been in the office today so not much decluttered...bendy carrots & parsnips were made into scrummy soup for lunches, pre-roasted aubergines were made into baba ganoush for my tea with some YS lamb from the freezer.

My new router arrived today, along with a T&T ping to self isolate for 10 days, so will gather up some bits for the tip with the old router when I'm allowed out again.

Trying to keep up with all decluttering, I think it's hard with everything going on. Putting things in spare room that don't want but will count when out . Picked up new laundry basket.

1. KITCHEN WILL CONTINUE TO BE LEFT CLEAN & TIDY EVERY NIGHT

2. JUST DO ONE THING EVERY DAY (courtesy of bit_by_bit) OTHER THAN DAY TO DAY CLEANING & DECLUTTERING 
3. CLEAN ONE ROOM (TOP TO BOTTOM) EVERY MONTH (hopefully 3 weekly by the end of the year)

Finished knitting a beanie 🙂 Tidied one shelf in condiments/spices cupboard. Dinner was chicken fried in butter, boiled potatoes & garden peas - cooked the right amount so no los 😉

dND, when my DSis lived in France she loved receiving all the sm advertising - as otherwise all she received was bills & the occasional package from me 😉 I am not sure that anyone likes the new forum - very clunky & that annoying message on every single page 😡 However I think we all just persevere as we have found our family 😉🙂

pamsdish, some of the couriers move so fast that they tap on the window & by the time I get to the door 15’ away they are back in their van & driving off 😱 Now the greyhound can run at 25 mph, but can you? Only joking 🙃

Our vegetable OddBox has just been delivered & I am rather disappointed - full of salad stuff - gem lettuces, radishes, red peppers, celery, cucumber - anyone would think it was summer 😞 + a few potatoes, celeriac & lots of small red onions. Looks like another soup is on the menu 🙃
