1. KITCHEN WILL CONTINUE TO BE LEFT CLEAN & TIDY EVERY NIGHT2. JUST DO ONE THING EVERY DAY (courtesy of bit_by_bit) OTHER THAN DAY TO DAY CLEANING & DECLUTTERING
3. CLEAN ONE ROOM (TOP TO BOTTOM) EVERY MONTH (hopefully 3 weekly by the end of the year)Wednesday is dry but very cold. No alarm set but did manage to get up by 10.30 a.m. - good for me as I AM a night owl 😉 Very pleased to find that the wheelie bin was emptied this morning as they ‘forgot’ to turn up last week 🙄 Not so pleasing - nothing for me on Premium Bonds but at least DH won £25 🥳.A minuscule flurry of activity 😉 Hm soup has been lightly zizzed & taste tested 😋 & I have dusted the TV sideboard & TV screen + gone through the 4 drawers & the cupboard - I managed to relocate some bits to their forever homes & found a Fitb*t box to recycle 🙂
Meanwhile I am still clearing down programmes from TV planner.
54 - 59 Small cardboard box, 2 seasonal TV magazines, plastic pot, 2 newspapers all recycled
60 Handful of tat binnedGreat work nannywindow 👏 Not sure it really matters when we declutter, just that we do 😉 By the way, you are too kind to be a vampire 😉 so you will have to settle for being a night owl 😉 I have to say I always thought the ‘group hug emoji’ was a little suspect 🙄
balabooberlies - I like to think of us as the ‘family we would all choose’ - always supportive & encouraging 🙂 Life is way too short to be awful to each other - Jacinda has it right “Be Kind” By the way Queen Balabooberlies I love 💗 my new title 👏😁
Great work ‘glitter princess stellata’ 👏 especially cleaning the oven - that deserves a 🏅 How about popping round to my place 😉😉Great work KatyLovesCats 👏 It is always very pleasing when you do more than you intended 🙂
😖 ruby_eskimo just what you don’t need 😖 I imagine work life is difficult enough without anyone making it worse 😞 Resisting a box of biscuits 👏 - unheard of in my house 😉
Appropriate decluttering ruby 😉 well done 👏Happy Birthday to lynnsey30’s granddaughter 🥳 I wish you success for your decluttering plans 🙂
Great work Viking_mfw 👏 especially the bonus find 👏Aw shucks gilly1964 - I thought you were giving us 100 more years to declutter 😉Good work vulpix 👏 Remember recycling IS decluttering 🙂Basketcase what a brilliant idea 👏 “My aim is to get to a place where I struggle to find one! If I put that on my Bucket List, I'll live forever... “ Gave me a good chuckle 🤭 Laughing silently makes everyone wonder 😉😉 Nice comments for Wildrose 👏
I hope Nicnak laughed as loud as I did 😂 Now, now basketcase if you think that is “not that much really” then I am not cheerleading properly 😞 Great work especially the daily discipline becoming a habit 👏
ClaireT13 not so sure I would be so phlegmatic 😞 I think I might be beating him about the head with the broom 🤣 My first thought is that he is doing it on purpose so that you won’t ask him to help 😉 but maybe I am just being cynical 🤨
A great morning’s work helensbiggestfan 👏
That was very kind of them newlywed 🤣 Great kitchen habits 👏 I am still working on the doing the washing up immediately rather than just before I go to bed 😉😉
Good work boultdj 👏 & you topped up your Vitamin D 🙂
Excellent work Ms_W 👏 you will soon be in the 200s 🙂
DH & I have just had a bowl of the hm soup & it is yummy 🤤🙂MrsSDDecluttering Target: 2021 60/2021Savings Pot:Be Kind. Stay Safe. Break the Chain. Save Lives. ⭐️2025 Savings Pot Challenge: As a monthly amount, running total = £299.00

I bought a no junk mail sticker for my letterbox and it’s probably reduced our weekly paper recycling by almost half. Is that something you could do?
B xHi Betharooni,The publicity from the supermarkets actually saves me a lot of diesel as I don't venture out unless the supermarkets have what I want on a good offer - they're around half an hour away and absolutely no chance of home deliveries here!Wow, thank you MrsSD, I think you deserve a platinum star for keeping on top of all the posts.I'm not convinced by this new, (to me), forum - I miss all the old emoticons and I miss not being able to see easily which posts I've thanked, all it needs is a colour change! Ho hum, must be my age.Onwards and out-of-the-housewards everyone.dND

I have a please ring the bell sticker on my door, lge red arrow indicating the bell, or the intercom, I am partial hearing and just don`t hear the tap on the glass, dog usually alerts me, but not always, she`s not a barker.
Keep threatening the Amazon delivery I am going to return it to Amazon as it`s broken, usually met with a vacant stare, also unless they can run faster than Usain Bolt, close the gate, if a gate is closed on the way in, close it on the way out, I have a greyhound, she would not venture beyond the gate alone normally, but if a cat runs past, or something spooks her she can still run about 25 m.p.h.Do I need it or just want it.11 -
I got home from work sat down with a cuppa. Read Mrs SD praise for my efforts yesterday and jumped up hoovered the hall stairs and landing, front room, our bedroom and little ones room. Hoover needed emptying twice (it’s only a small handheld) but still...... never mind, job done. My husband must have been on a toy picking up exercise earlier as the floors were clear so made it easy... I save half an hour on my commute as traffic lighter in lockdown, so will try to use the half an hour to good use! Thanks once again Mrs SD the encouragement goes a long way 👍😊13

Happy New Year Mrs Salad Dodger and declutterers.
I would like my target to be 1011 for items this year and 2021 for old emails. So, around 3 items and 6 emails per day.
Items so far - 14.
I have been struggling with a cookery book today. It is a fairly old-fashioned basics cookbook and includes loads of recipes that we just would never make. It is good for basic pastry and victoria sponges, but I am gluten intolerant so we never make those. I have no emotional attachment to it other than my mother gave it to me when I left home and she did the same for my sister. I don't have a great relationship with my mother so that's not a pull so I'm not understanding why I'm reluctant to let go. I have counted it in the above total so it has to go! Oh, and the glue in the spine has gone so the pages are all loose leaf anyway so it's not even in good condition.
