Thanks Mrs S.D........
So sorry I have missed all your news. Bestest get well wishes to all that need them.
I came home, spent the first day trying to strim edges of 2 foot plus high lawn and gave up when the guard fell off. Repair hadn't worked. That was in the evening. Horrified to find that things that should be picked up in garden immediately, weren't. That was upsetting.
Next day worked the phone for Dad with doctors, pharmacists, district nurses etc. Also OH had let House Insurance lapse (the less said the better). Tiggy, my beloved dog, needed attention including nail clipping (regular walking not undertaken). Dog walker arranged.
The last 2 days have done very little other than walking Tiggy, cooking etc. House still a colossal mess with my hoarding problem.
Today have to sort possible fraud/mistake on my bank account. Helps to notice these things but when you have little to work with these things glare.
Tomorrow, back with parents. Busy day with blood tests etc for Dad.
Keep well
Love

Good morning all, hugs to those that need them. Yesterday I managed to miss collecting my meds as I had forgotten the chemist closes at lunch time but I did do a sm shop including food for work. I work in a special school and once a week we cook our own lunch. When I got home I discovered the door on one of the freezers had been left slightly open, or had been pushed open by the accumulation of ice, we have been trying to get it empty to defrost it for the past month. So the new bought food for school had to be rammed in the other freezer until tomorrow morning and I had a minor strop with OH as the kitchen was an absolute tip. The deal is if I cook OH does the washing up. I don't expect it to be dried up and put away, just off the work surfaces and onto the drainer. Not been done for 3 days so the freezer tipped the balance, and sfter dealing with fridge and freezer items I left the rest of the shopping in the bags and retreated to the garden for a coffee. OH joined me and said wu would be done and the freezer dealt with. Some of the meat in the freezer had started to defrost and I said it would have to be cooked before it could be refrozen. I am veggie so not my job but luckily as we have been running that freezer down there wasn't loads. Then I went and did some more sorting in my bedroom. Another bag of recycling out and a bag of rubbish. Sorted 2 small draws so I can find things when I need them, uu a sample of perfume to check it was still ok, I have another 2 and wanted to know if it was worth keeping them. The other 2 will be used today and tomorrow. When I got back downstairs half the wu was done and the rest was in the sink so I put the rest of the shopping away. OH finished wu and started dealing with some of the meat. We had greek takaway for tea and I watched the football. OH started sorting the freezer using a new steam cleaner and was still at it when I went to bed.
This morning I have washed all the tea towels left on the kitchen floor from the freezer defrost and they're on the line to dry before the rain arrives. I have also sorted some of the washing pile in the conservatory, mainly underwear and socks and am going to check the bra situation after I have had a shower. I think some may be binned. I know I should recycle them but I haven't been able to find a fabric recycling facility open for ages.
Will pop back later to update11 -
MrsSD I hope MrSD gets his appointment soon. DH now has a consultant appointment ready for Sept, seems they are on the ball here despite what it says on the news of a backlog ( unless they have fast tracked him ) Hopefully the treatment has done something and at least he can get some extra time.I shall declutter the ironing basket today, Oh yes I shall ! 🤣 and declutter the last of the strawberries for pudding at tea time 😋bala don't worry about the house mess, that can wait. You need to look after yourself and the people/animals around you 🧡Liverpool Anne sorry about your freezer, sometimes it's something so simple that can push us over the edge. I think I would have had a major meltdown and not a minor strop !Oceanspirit hugs, perhaps your energy levels will rise this week, if not don't worry there's always some other time. I only declutter when I can and not set myself any goals as I find that idea too daunting and overwhelming.Take care all, hugs to everyone.nanFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently12

Back to report 3 bras in the bin, 1 perfume sample uu, 1 shower gel sample uu, forgot to mention yesterday I managed to declutter part of a tooth when over vigorously flossing so dentist appt now needed, old toothbrush binned and replaced. I half cleaned the windowsill but got distracted by the co2 detector which had been left on the windowsill by the plasterers and spent ages hunting for some new batteries. Couldn't get it to work so went off to b+q to get 2 new ones, the one by the log burner died in March. So both replaced but the windowsill is still to be done as are the Windows, this is what I do all the time and I really must stop. Ironed all my clothes for work next week and sorted my packed lunch for tomorrow. Also sorted 2 gift sets to go into work for the D of E tombola, another role of mine to be handed over, this one I will really miss as I love seeing how the pupils grow in confidence and independence and we have so much fun on the expeditions. Pupils who have never even seen a tent and whose parents go to great lengths to tell me how much they will hate it take to it like a duck to water.
Off to bed now
Take care everyone11 -
@TC77, don't know if this is feasible for you but could you have a couple of suitcases in the loft for your DD1's winter things that could then be emptied and refilled with her summer things when the seasons change again?12
