735. Applied for new bank a/c - my bank is closing !!!
736. Made tax payment on account
737. finished knitting & sewing together a poncho
It's been a challenging week - I had to get DS back from Uni (he was planning to stay there for the Summer) - he's really been struggling with his mental health - I missed the signs because I've been trying to give him space to be independent & he seemed fairly happy when he popped back for a couple of days recently (he told me he actually was happy then). Anyway, upshot is he's back home now - I think it will be for the whole Summer & we'll need to get his stuff back but I'm waiting to broach that with him as he's still very wobbly at the moment. I'm looking for some professional support for him (which he suggested himself). It's hard to witness him struggling like this and I'm glad I can be there for him.
Sending love to everyone...

So sorry to hear about your dad Bala - puts everything else in perspective. Hope you're taking care of yourself as well as your dad.
Have drainage person round soon and a quote for decorating. As always have to apologise for the chaos in my house, and imply its not usually like this. So love the idea of not being embarrassed or having to apologise for the state of my house. Once sorted chaos will need new carpets etc 😒
Just tidied bathroom bits thrown, and dining room table as well, and washing put in bedrooms - counting as 3 to add later. Need to find glasses cloth - must have half a dozen but none to hand.
Wet here again so good decluttering weather, glad I made it to the park last night to see friends to help keep me going.7 -
Sounds like you've done the right thing with your son, @EnergyShifter - and such a positive step by him in suggesting professional support himself - fingers truly crossed for you both that you find some and it helps him xxI am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £206

@threesecondmemory sorry I'm laughing at your cat😉 he sounds like mine! Is he a tabby? Yesterday he came in the back door after being out all night, sniffed at his raw food, had a couple bites then came to where I was sitting meow ing at me winding round my legs, bearing in mind his food is out and back door still open , I stroked him and tapped my knee to see if he wanted cuddles, and he walked to the front door and stood there waiting till I opened it! He's a very vocal cat and loves everyone who comes to stroke him ,he's like a dog, and will follow us round stretching up my leg till he gets stroked!!
@balabooberlies sorry to hear your dad is unwell, hope everything is ok. XxFocus on contribution instead of the impressiveness of consumption to see the true beauty in people.7 -

Hello all, hugs to the poorly ones and family members and those struggling with their health.Energyshifter I hope you can get some help for your DSI haven't been decluttering much this week except 4hrs per day travelling to and from the hospital, the fuel gauge on the car thinks it's been broken too as we clock up the miles and use the fuel at a rate of knots, but there's only 7 more visits to go, Yay !!I have decluttered 3 more kindle books but re-cluttered 6 more, hopefully they should last me till the end of treatment.I decluttered a big bag of bits and bobs to the cs. Mega Yay !!I got out into the garden yesterday and decluttered a stubborn shrub stump ( try saying that fast 3 times 😂 ) by eventually jumping up and down on it ! Only 2 more to go now, it must be the longest ongoing demolition project I've done and I sometimes wonder why I start, although usually DH is able to help me with the heavy stuff. I also threw out my favourite gardening T.shirt as it's gone in holes 😟 I hope it's not a moth attack, I'm sure it wasn't like that when I last wore it, I will have to check my gardening clothes pile for Justin. Also decluttered, well DH did, a young rat which fell asleep on the patio 😱 Very unusual to see one mid-day, think it may have ingested some poison. On that happy note I shall leave you all....... till next time 😘MrsSD I hope your DH is ok..... oh! and those hungry wormies still begging for their dinners 🤣Take care allnanFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently11

@EnergyShifter thinking about you and your son, it's so good that he's talking to you and seeking help. It's such a tough time for young people (and others). My daughter has asked for help after a long time of not accepting it. I do hope you find good help, and there are some good online resources while waiting for referrals etc.
Fingers crossed may have found source of rat problem - lovely pest/drainage people coming back tomorrow early!11 -

3. ONCE A WEEK LEAVE THE HOUSE (e.g. Go into city centre for bank & butcher; go to local town for cs dropping off or buying; visit the pub with DH 😉Saturday was mainly a dreary day - overcast & damp.
