Working so little done, but DD1 came round and I helped her with Dr appt and Student Finance - she's struggling at the moment so supporting her to make calls which she did and got referral she needs and support at her placement.
1136-1137
Just feeling like I've come to a standstill so looked around and found 2 nail varnishes unopened and popped them in CS bag 1138 - 1139 and remembered dried out make up (which won't be replaced) binned 1140. Pen 1141
Put a few things on f/b marketplace but think I may have overpriced - a few things on give away sites. just don't want things to go to landfill. Hopefully my new shed will arrive in a few weeks and then I can get more things out of the house.
Love reading how everyone is getting on, and Mrs SD's wonderful cheerleading. Hugs to those in need, warmer weather hopefully coming back soon.

I have come here for some calm.
Forgive me whilst I have a little panic.
We had an email this afternoon from our solicitor saying the buyers want us to move next Monday, loads of queries about stuff and they want us to have a central heating check !!!!!
Eventually managed to find someone to come Friday, we will be on the way to Oxford so leaving a key.
We only took one load off stuff to the house today as I thought Mr V deserved some time off. I went to the bank and had a wait of 45 minutes in a queue outside ! It was freezing. Transferred some money to my son for a wedding present. Whilst we were out ,nipped in the supermarket and a couple of chazzers. Every time I get dressed I earmark something else to go as it is too big. Bought 2 tops a scarf and a clutch bag. Obviously scarf and bag are to replace ones that are now too big. lol.
Couldn't do any runs tonight as Mr V had a meeting, but he did give someone there 2 screens. (radio related) Mr V at work tomorrow so evening runs on the cards. DD1 and BF coming again but he is Scottish and wants to watch the footie, which is fine.
I have also run out of boxes, only need a couple but supermarket had none.
... aaaand breathe
Thank you for listening, this time next week we shall be camping in a sea of boxes at the new house.

Morning all! It’s a bright new day 😃 and I need to focus, focus, focus!First job is to rescue my waterlogged strawberries! Luckily the drill is charged and close to hand. There is nothing more ‘alpha’ around here than being the first person to use power tools in the morning! 😂😂😂
Lots of paperwork and banking to sort out - if I cancel everything except my utilities and tv, I can pay off the entire cruise by the end of Sept. All that prepping paid off - my living expenses are minimal nowadays. It just means no spending for 99 days. It’s given me the biggest incentive to start selling bits and pieces. Every tenner counts from this moment on!
This is my daily dopamine - for as long as it lasts anyway 😂😂
what little bit of joy I was getting from the beautiful sunshine has been stolen!Oh dash! That reminds me, I have to clarify whether my psychiatrist appointment is on the telephone or at the health centre tomorrow. I had a letter stating one thing and a text message stating another 🤷♀️It’s nothing to get excited about – it’s the same psychiatrist as last time. I asked for a second opinion two years ago and they had the nerve to discharge me from their service 😂😂😂
she told my GP that she thought I was humouring her! 😂😂😂
I seem to be going round doing a second sweep. It’s getting easier to make decisions about whether I really am going to use, wear or need certain objects.I’ve got seven cushions that I’ve saved from the children’s bedrooms over the years - why? Because I was taught to never get rid of anything in case it was useful. These things serve no purpose at all if they are not being used! Same goes for saving stuff for special occasions! I’ve started wearing my favourite perfume every day – it was a birthday present two years ago and the smell will deteriorate over time. I threw away all my make up because it was starting to degrade. I didn’t have very much but, it was all expensive, good stuff. I thought it was too good for every day so I saved it until it went off 🤦♀️I was too well trained - indoctrinated in fact - keeping stuff means never having to pay for that thing again/wasting money is really bad. That’s why I have 7 surplus cushions taking up my valuable living space 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️ 😂😂
I didn’t realise I had a hoarding problem until I started therapy 😂😂
I need to be an Elsa and Let it go, let it go, let it goooo! 😂😂13 -
@bit_by_bitThank heavens it’s only a book!It was the chance rediscovery that Cartagena is in Spain, not South America, that started this whole cruise business 😂😂😂11

@3secondmemory fab to hear you're using all your sunday best.nibahve perfume that's gone off, make up, clothes gone out of fashion or no longer fit with tags on! Crockery kids not allowed to use..... really trying to tackle this
@vulpix gosh sounds very pushy of buyers. So impressed what you're doing with moving. I can't seem to shift weight to get back in clothes but keeping going with swimming and wearing some things I had as best or when x happens.11 -
Thank You everyone for your words of encouragement. The weight loss is spurred by wanting to be slimmer than my son's Step Mother in wedding photos if I am brutally honest!
3second memory I echo your thoughts. I wish now that I had been more brutal when packing. I have 4 cushions that my Mum made for me. Beautiful Aran patterns. Magnificent work but the sofa they were on in the kitchen is long gone. At least I resisted a pretty jug in the chazzer yesterday. Yes you are right, every tenner counts. My sales this year will be very helpful. I have already bought some garden furniture, a new rug and clothing for the wedding. Oh and given DD1's BF some dosh as we are so grateful for his help. (muscle)
The early bird catches the banana box. Mr V been to the supermarket and now gone to work.
435. Length of rope which had unravelled in the middle
437. 2 screens/monitors given away
Pounds lost 26lbs
Pounds gained £1165
