11 items yesterday
Moved the rest of the clothing out of the COD and have managed to fit most of it in to wardrobe and other COD. Not sure where to put the rest. Don't want to get rid of too much more at the moment as slowly losing the lockdown lard and will need to sort the clothes when I am feeling more 'me'.Decluttering Awards: 🏅🏅12 -

Hi all!I was the same with all the paper TC77 😂 Graph paper is a good example! Getting rid of the awful desk in my sitting room was the best thing ever! I’m terrible - again, the inbuilt pressure that that graph paper ‘could’ be useful, and it cost money to buy!It took me a while to get round to a different way of thinking – looking back on the experience with my ADHD coach, it was a bit like Marie Kondo but without the folding.I can now look at stuff and think ‘ when am I really going to use this, and if I didn’t have it, could I easily replace it or use something else?’So, for graph paper - I haven’t drawn a graph for at least 15 years! Let it go! If I really needed some - buy some more or do it on the ‘puter! No one has asked for or needed a sheet of graph paper for at least 6 years and, the clinchers for me- no one dies from lack of graph paper! I’m not going to be in trouble for having any! No one expects me to keep this in case they need it. No one will be particularly disappointed if I don’t have graph paper for them and, if they need it, they can get it themselves 😂😂
it’s not the end of the world!Today was easy. No decisions, just common sense.
paid a cheque into the bank, dumped off some more ood medicine, batteries to be recycled and some odd bits to the CS.Nothing major - just maintaining14 -
Hi,
On the home straight now with the move. Did a couple of runs tonight after work. We have all day Sunday to boss it. My lovely, lovely friend and her nephew are coming to help on Monday.
Off to Oxford tomorrow in preparation for the wedding on Saturday. Went and panic bought a fascinator this morning.
Sold a stone trough as it was too heavy for us to lift into the car. Recycled batteries at the SM, gave a peony I have grown in a pot to our next door neighbour. I have packed my notebook so don't know what number I am up to.
At last we have had some rain.
See you next week.

1. KITCHEN WILL CONTINUE TO BE LEFT CLEAN & TIDY EVERY NIGHT2. JUST DO ONE THING EVERY DAY (courtesy of bit_by_bit) OTHER THAN DAY TO DAY CLEANING & DECLUTTERING
3. ONCE A WEEK LEAVE THE HOUSE (e.g. Go into city centre for bank & butcher; go to local town for cs dropping off or buying; visit the pub with DH 😉Thursday was a dry day but slightly overcast. DH got a message that the screws were not in stock, so trip out to Sc*ewf*x but no joy ☹️ Usual Thursday sm trip & managed to get the screws from BandQ. DH has also started building a protective cage for the large raised bed - pigeons, magpies, squirrels & foxes keep trying to dig up the plants. DSis went into Lewisham to bank a cheque & do a bit of shopping. Came back frazzled - crowded & very few masks being worn. My task for the day was phone banking & sorting my finances. Dinner was lo cheesy pasta topped with slices of mozzarella & tomato 😋 Wudupa.

Thanks for encouragement, I just seem to have got stuck. Will be keeping graph paper as DD2 just starting A levels and does sometimes come up with request but have folders of paper etc in 3 different rooms, so one aim is to bring things together so I know what I have got, and can free up other space. Have a desk that I use for work with 2 fab drawers and realise I rarely use anything in them (office supplies) but desk is damaged on surface - have an antique desk which is half empty and probably too small for work, and large bench style desk that is in my bedroom so need to sort out what I use. Work in my bedroom in the winter as its easier to keep warm but realise I have an abundance problem and need to share excess once I really know what I have. Still have ambition to move in couple of years, and definitely couldn't face packing up and seeing the number of boxes!!
Each shelf that I sort out, or grouping of a category will count as 1.11 -

929: at least 100 emails deleted
930: another 30 photos deleted

Hi Peeps,
a lot of moving stuff is happening here and nice to see people getting the benefit of it too. We have just purchased a shoe store from Ik*a and all our foot wear is now in one place. So excited about this achievementSo cleared from under the bed, emptied a corner unit in the bedroom which was destined for footwear is now empty and I need to find something suitable to go in there now. I suppose could use it for sale of bay items till they leave and that will reduce it in time and I wont need to think too hard where I have put stuff. Wudupa is still work in progress, must try harder. Treated us to the music machine of Ale*a, OMG what a difference to getting house work done
its the future for me lol.
The rain has finally arrived and watered the newly sort of what's left seeded garden. We have also started more "planning" talk and some action of moving stuff in anticipation of starting the kitchen extention. Not getting too excited yet been here 6 years and slow progression, tis mainly due to DH not good health and loosing weight and strength. We are on with the weight increase finally. We have got some stuff out into the bins slowly and are making positive headway. It is looking a lot tidier now wood logs have been split and stored out of sight too.
Onwards and upwards
