@3secondmemory try Facebook or Freecycle to advertise it "free green wood from recently felled tree, must collect"Flat packing it as best I can! I know people might come and take this away but it’s still a lot of work for me.

The washing dried so fast outside today got 2 lots done. And eventually our superkingsize winter duvet that won’t fit in our washing machine, was washed at the laundrette and dried outside in a couple of hours - yippee!
Honestly I haven’t done much decluttering recently….. very impressed with others progress though and am cheering you all along xx10 -
Now the bloody cat has brought another flipping mouse in8

Gers, you are doing a sterling job. I am sorry for your loss.xxx
3second memory, Haha there does seem to be a never ending supply of mice here too. You have done a great job of clearing the garden mess up.
My son has gone home, he was a breath of fresh air and has done loads of jobs for me and my Mum. The next time I see him he will be getting married. Where did the time go. It is only two minutes since he was a little boy.
Tomorrow I will finish packing all the things off the kitchen island and if I feel like it I will tackle the airing cupboard.

1. KITCHEN WILL CONTINUE TO BE LEFT CLEAN & TIDY EVERY NIGHT2. JUST DO ONE THING EVERY DAY (courtesy of bit_by_bit) OTHER THAN DAY TO DAY CLEANING & DECLUTTERING
3. ONCE A WEEK LEAVE THE HOUSE (e.g. Go into city centre for bank & butcher; go to local town for cs dropping off or buying; visit the pub with DH 😉Tuesday was a gloriously sunny, hot day 🙂👏 A tad too hot if wearing full motorbike kit 🙄 We left the house at 10:15 a.m. - took us over an hour to cross London to the M4 😱
Mixed day for sights, sounds & actions 😉 One stop for coffee & cake, one stop for petrol & 4 stops for Round Britain Rally landmarks. Helicopter museum was closed ☹️ but had seen a Chinook flying quite low 🙂 A rhinoceros in a front garden 😉😉 A pink dinosaur 🦕🙂 A white horse standing on a roof 😱 hawks flying overhead, chickens wandering the roads, alpacas sharing a field with goats 🙂 Smells of cow manure, newly cut grass & blossom. The beautiful countryside, woodland, serpentine winding roads in Somerset, Devon & Cornwall. Then the painful/embarrassing event 😱 In a busy small town, making a slow right turn having gone a few inches too far, trying to avoid the pavement, trying to stand the bike up but foot into a pothole & the slow motion of the motorbike passing the point of no return & toppling over with us still on it 😣 I managed to crawl out immediately & practically leapt to my feet 😉 Two burly chaps lifted the bike a few inches so DH could drag himself out safely, helped him off the floor & then stood the bike up - traffic queued up so large audience for our embarrassment 😔 Bike still working, so DH drove up the incline & I walked & got on ASAP. My right shoulder & right knee ache a bit - I expect bruises tomorrow. DH has twisted his right knee. Then a couple of diversions down closed roads meant we arrived at our hotel 2 hours later than expected ☹️ We had just enough time for a quick shower & to get changed before dinner which was delicious 🤤
Half a bottle of white wine each, couple of beers. DH’s starter was scallops in a light creamy sauce 😋 my starter was king prawns & gravelax salmon with salad 😋 😋One nil to me! Main course for DH was Thai salmon on noodles 😋, mine was fried chicken on a bed of rice 😋😋 Two nil to me 😉 Dessert - DH had a trio of icecream - lemon meringue pie, Madagascar vanilla & salted caramel 😋😋 My dessert was amaretto icecream with espresso coffee & biscotti 😋. Two to one in my favour 😉
Back to our room - finished our flask of coffee & listened to some music on DH’s phone - mostly the Ukelele Orchestra 👏🙂 DH is asleep & I am about to follow him into the land of Nod.
What a wonderful day nannywindow 👏 Your Life Batteries are now fully charged & will be topped up on Friday - Happy Birthday 🥳 in case I forget 😔
3secondmemory, good for you making the most of every minute of daylight 👏 Your garden already sounds wonderful 🙂🙂 Very pleased to hear old lady cat has perked up a bit 👏
Nodding off now so will continue cheerleading tomorrow 😉MrsSD 🏅 🏅 🏅🏅 🏅 🏅 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Decluttering Target: 2021 1090/20212021 Savings Pot: £114.80 to end of MayBe Kind. Stay Safe. Break the Chain. Save Lives. ⭐️2025 Savings Pot Challenge: As a monthly amount, running total = £299.00

Morning Mrs SD I woke up feeling surprisingly intact considering my hard work yesterday but Day 2 is always worse.
after a nice warm bath and a handful of painkillers, I’ve set about setting up my siphon tube.
I need a new end for it which I will get in town later, but for the time being I just immerse the whole 10 m of tubing in the bath so it fills with water, stick one end through a piece of wood that I drilled a hole in to, to work as a float, and drop the end out of the window. Gravity does the rest. I let it trickle out over the lawn or collect it in a watering can 😃 Every drop of water matters.
i’m just packing a suitcase at the moment - i’m so sick of this community project not coming to pick up the stuff that I’m going to take it into town myself – hence the suitcase 😃
i’m desperate for slip on shoes to wear in the garden so I might as well grab a Macdonalds for breakfast as well. I hate shopping for clothes and shoes 😞 Not only are many of my shoes on suitable but I’m down a shoe size because of all the weight loss. Another decluttering job 😂7 -
7 items paperwork into recycling on Monday
24 items paperwork into recycling on Tuesday
Lots of papers sorted into categories on the dining table and another file to empty and add to them so the serious decluttering can begin.Decluttering Awards: 🏅🏅8 -

Good morning everyone and hugs for everyone too.
France is back to being sunny France again and I have decluttered lots of washing and items also washed for clothes recycling. Everything that can be washed has been including some experiments which all washed well. But, with all the wet weather the garden is wild again . Still,, the bad weather meant that all the accumulated stuff in the spare room has gone to the CS now it has reopened and last Friday I went to the tip, aka regional recycling centre. A fun trip, really interesting as all the new sections were explained to me. You see, that week DH and I sorted the garage and out went lots of used up chemical and diy old stuff . It started with DH looking for fuller and he got fed up with rummaging through piles of useless junk that he asked me for a box and started throwing the ood stuff into the box. SomE time later....and no filler.....So,
4 books
1 coat
1 pair of pyjamas
1 pair shorts
6 cardboard boxes
3 boxes of toxic chemicals and old diy stuff
I pile odd junk
Total = 17+276=293/365.
I'm also going to ease off buying books from the charity shop. I know it is a good cause but it adds up at a euro each. With Covid I read a lot of the ones we have and my crime stash has almost gone. I will join the local French library and reduce the book buying by reading more of what we have.Fewer CS trips will also mean fewer knicknacks.Very MSE.
Off to strim,
Keep safe everyone.8
