GrannyKate, thank you for sharing your thoughts. I hope that your world will open up a bit now that things are opening up a bit more 🤞You have been very busy decluttering & cleaning 👏 BG have failed you miserably 😖 but fingers crossed that your complaints will result in some compensation 🤞enough to cover what you have spent & are spending getting it sorted out yourself. Hopefully now your DS has found you a good plumber you can get all the problems sorted. A good plumber is worth his/her weight in gold 😉
You must be getting very excited at the prospect of seeing lots of family even if not all 🙂Everything crossed that this September you can have a full complement of children & grandchildren to visit with a resumption of photographs 🤞An exceedingly busy week mothernerd 🙂👏 Not only gardening but cleaning & tidying. The family visit must have been wonderful - it is such a boost to our spirits being able to visit family/have family to visit 🙂 More to the point you have something to look forward to August BH 👏What a brilliant result Gem-gem 👏🙂 Clutter out, cash in 🥳

Proud Charlie woke me at 4.30 this morning. Half asleep, I let him in not realising he was saying ‘look at the mouse in my mouth, Mummy!’I chased him upstairs with it and he jumped on my bed with it. This is when I realised it was still alive so I grabbed it and it was like trying to catch a bar of soap. He slipped out of my hand several times before jumping over the banister and somehow landing in my shopping trolley. The cat followed quick style and all hell ensued in the porch as I tried to open the door and kick him out! The cat was worse than a mouse, it was like trying to wrestle a python 😂😂
Took a good half hour to find where the bloody mouse was hiding and when I grabbed it by the tail, the feisty !!!!!! started doing stomach curls trying to gnaw its own tail off! I ran out of the house holding this thing at arms length and deposited it on the side of the green.I also rescued a bumblebee but that was far less traumatic 😂
The early start meant that I’ve had a four hour Headstart on everyone. I siphoned my bathwater out, it’s got Epsom salts in it so it’s fantastic for the garden. I use it on all my flowering plants and on the lawn. It’s why mine looks greener than everyone else’s 😃
I made a promise that if I finished all my potting up, I can take a wander down to the nursery and buy some tumbling plants. I didn’t think I’d be done by 10 o’clock in the morning 😂11 -
Wow, that was an exciting start to your day @3secondmemory! I can well remember the days of field mice being brought through the catflap & played with up & down the stairs...2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

(I have bucket that lives in the hall). Quickly grab bucket and turn it over, placing it over the mouse. Place card gently between bucket and floor. Turn bucket upright with card tightly on the top. Quickly, leave house with bucket and release mouse.2025 Fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons

I don't miss the mice being bought in, but I do miss madam furry, she was a good mouser, use to leave dead one's outside 4 of the houses when we lived in the terrace.
Out for me, a ripped nighty, used up mayo bottle, the shredding done and 378 emails decluttered.£71.93/ £180.009 -
Three spice jars uu and recycled.
Meatloaf prepared, plastic containers binned.15p milk and h/g strawberries from 2020 turned into strawberry ice-cream. 🍦🍧DH cut back bush in garden - branches recycled. 🌿DH washed windows outside the back of the house, I cleaned the inside back windows. (We only pay the window cleaner to do the front - as we don't want them climbing on top of our extension). Grey water put on garden - no chemicals in water.
Two loads of washing done - soon to start ironing.
washed vegetable draw from fridge and cutlery tray from drawer - crumbs and veggie bits removed.2025 Fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons

Evening MrsSD and fellow declutterers, first of all, I send a virtual hug to @EnergyShifter, my wife suffers from a generalised anxiety disorder and for most of today she has been either on her phone playing games or sleeping, escaping from it all. Keeping yourself busy is the key I think, though it's easier for me to say this. From looking at this from afar, her condition is tiring and it takes a lot of energy out of you. So credit to you @EnergyShifter for doing bits of decluttering here and there and battling on. Keep going and take it one day at a time.
As for me, all my container plants are outside now enjoying the sun which is an achievement in itself, a good bit of decluttering done indoors over the bank holiday weekend with vacuuming and cleaning and it was my birthday as well on the Sunday. Presents themed around chocolate, football and alcoholic beverages. 😉 I must make headway with online selling of clutter in June (repeat several times as I look to get some sleep). Cheers 🙂11
