@boultdj - sad news , virtual hugs to you.
Had DIY help today - couldn't find the hinge I picked up from someone to mend the cupboard ( I'm sure I put in somewhere) so clearly alot more to do here. Had shower hose changed, shower seal sorted, bed fixed and couple of other things - giving myself 1 for organising, plus packaging, off cuts and old hose, and clearing up mess, plus a couple for clearing up in advance of DIY help arriving! (+7). can't find my numbers at the moment so will add later.
Also 4 old sims, new router arrived, installed and packaging recycled, paper declutter x 2, unsubscribing.
@vulpix, I sold (too much faff wrapping etc) and have given away alot of my glassware but still have far too much, can't resist different colours - are you going to downsize them? I have given some to friends who drink cocktails or entertain quite alot (or will do again).
trying to do like with like as I have things spread everywhere in my dozen safe places for different things! dug out spare keys and labelled and put in one place,, 1 for bringing together and 1 for labelling etc. (18 all together)12 -

boultdj I am sorry to hear of your loss.xxxx
Mothernerd you do amazing work. My house may look ok but open a cupboard or go in the loft as I have done today !!!
My trouble is I am a perfectionist and want to rehome everything to the right place. I have to stop bringing things in. I cannot be responsible for other peoples stuff. I also need to stop acquiring things for an aspirational house and life style. A beautiful big bowl fell today in the loft and smashed. I will not put things in he loft at the next house. I will have it in use or it can go. See how brave I am when push comes to shove and I have to practise what I preach.
Tomorrow I will do something in the kitchen. I think some of the glasses I will try to sell.

1. KITCHEN WILL CONTINUE TO BE LEFT CLEAN & TIDY EVERY NIGHT2. JUST DO ONE THING EVERY DAY (courtesy of bit_by_bit) OTHER THAN DAY TO DAY CLEANING & DECLUTTERING
3. ONCE A WEEK LEAVE THE HOUSE (e.g. Go into city centre for bank & butcher; go to local town for cs dropping off or buying; visit the pub with DH 😉Wednesday was a lovely sunny day & not too breezy 🙂 J the builder was on his own again as R & W are both busy rehearsing 🙂 He worked very hard & the 3rd section of wall (for neighbour J) is almost finished. Of the Bakewell tarts DH picked up one was for J the builder with a piped message ‘Thanks for the wall’ & one was for neighbour J. Both of them were as pleased as punch when I handed them over (DH is not one for accepting face to face thank yous as he gets embarrassed 🙈) They were both so pleased that they texted DH 🙂
DH took DSis for her 2nd jab - new place not so well organised as the original site ☹️DSis appears to have had no side effects this time 🤞Builder J left a bit earlier as he got too hot 🥵I did a bit more paperwork & checked the results of a charity raffle that I had entered & 🥳🥳 one of my tickets has won - now awaiting a £25 cheque 🎊 🥳 So chuffed 🙂 makes up for Ernie not picking my PB numbers 😉😉 I had a bowl of hm soup for lunch 😋 but quite spicy 🥵 Dinner was the 2nd half of Chinese takeaway. DH & I had enough space in our tummies for hm rhubarb & apple crumble & custard 🤤 Wudupa. Late evening & the temperature dropped quite noticeably & it started to rain ☹️

I've claimed my tax back for working from home for the last few years so might be nice to get something back there.
Got a sweatshirt to post back that i brought in the sale for half price but it's not even worth the money and looks raggy before I've even worn it.
Off to do a quick shop of essentials before we run out of food.
3 days of shifts left to do and next week I start my changed shifts.
No news on the house survey yet.
Need to get a few more bits on eBay but I will try and do that this week.
Got to laugh spent 25 mins on YouTube watching someone else declutter their place when I should be doing my own 😂🤔
Hope all are well, it's very dreary here weather wise.

Hoovered house, still getting cat fur up! I think she's coming back as a ghost cat just to shed fur for me to hoover up!
Glossed one side of the hallway door. Will have to do second coat another day. At least I no longer have to worry about furry looking like she was Pepe La Pew's lady love, she was a !!!!!! for wet paint.£71.93/ £180.0011 -
