Stellata snap! Did mine over the weekend and boy did it make me hop 🤕. Big toe is still all pretty rainbow colours ...... but on the plus side the glass casserole lid didn't shatter like the last one which went in the same way, but I forgot to put my foot in front of that one 😲 Hope your foot gets better quickly.

2. JUST DO ONE THING EVERY DAY (courtesy of bit_by_bit) OTHER THAN DAY TO DAY CLEANING & DECLUTTERING 

3. ONCE A WEEK LEAVE THE HOUSE (e.g. Go into city centre for bank & butcher;  go to local town for cs dropping off or buying; visit the pub with DH 😉😉)

Wednesday is a dull, overcast, chilly day threatening rain ☹️ The builder has 2 labourers today. 

DH has gone off to pick up a 2nd prescription for me - original course of antibiotics didn’t kill all the tooth/gum infection ☹️

609: Academic diary 14/15 separated into recyclable bits - I wasn't at college, just needed a diary.
610: Cereal box filled with paper to recycling.
611-612: another 2 boxes of bits sorted and consolidated with the rest. (Shredding session needed.)
613-615: 3 loyalty cards cut up and binned.
616: 150 emails

I got into the habit of buying bargains (then hoarding) and as I have a reasonable eye most things were certainly of my taste and some would say lovely.  ALL were supposed to be sold online.  To date I have sold absolutely zilch because of an irrational fear of messing things up.  (I am working on it).

Since joining this thread I have really started sorting things and found the most beautiful wallet/purse.  Embossed leather, light gilding, probably North African.  Just as I was about to put it into the 'for sale' pile I had a defiant reaction and said 'soddit' I am keeping this.  I use it, enjoy it and agree I am too old to sell my best/loved stuff and way too old for a 'best' department.

Hopefully, as said by a wonderful designer, one day most of what I have will either be useful or beautiful to me.

3 bags of CS stuff to 2 x charity shops - best stuff to Children's Hospice - the rest to more local CPL shop.  That's nearly all of it gone from the loft now - just a few more trips needed!!

The rain threatened then finally came 🙂☹️ Fortunately DH missed the rain 🙂👏 The 2nd labourer is also a classically trained singer (also went to London Guildhall School of Music & Drama) I will investigate later 😉 Our builder has put up about a quarter of next door’s wall. We now have a cement mixer & wheelbarrow in our garage 😃 Labourer 1 aka R wasn’t working this afternoon as he was singing somewhere 🙂 Dinner is going to be spaghetti Bolognese. I have done one lot of wudupa.

What a great find balabooberlies 👏 It is sometimes surprising what treasures we find when we start on our decluttering journeys 🙂 Well done for recognising that you deserve to have & use beautiful things 🏅 - life is too short to not look after ourselves. Evening just finished my shift. So the Friday off has gone out the window and also been asked to work Tuesday (must be doing something right  ) although I don't want the hours, I shall show willing this once and then draw a line under that.

I will get to meet more people that work there so that is a plus. Might be a Billy no RL mates there like me. 

I have mentioned all my additional hours and that I expect to be paid or offered time off. Start as you mean to go on.. Big company so can afford if it was a small business or family business may not have been so inclined to ask!! 

HM chips and HM burger for tea. 

Decluttered my older work notes again and have 3 pens for the bin that I've used up in the last 3 weeks!! I shall have to see if the rest of them I have will last me. 

 I need to buy some post-its /sticky notes.

Plus one is going away so I shall not be doing a big shop this weekend so I will eat up /eat from freezer.

Mrs SD I was pleased to note that I am not the only one who has retained a toilet brush holder as a flower vase.  I have a really nice plain white ceramic vase (ex brush holder) that is a favourite.

825 - a few weeds culled before bin collected
826 - more paper shredded or recycled
827 - boiler service finally booked
828 - hopefully plumber will come to fix toilet flushes today neither of which work properly

Some things off my to do list - I count those as they declutter my brain.
