Morning all. Not much decluttering done (other than a large easter egg into my tummy!) but I am happy to say that I've managed to stay on top of the tidying in the house. Things have actually made it back to their proper places for once 😲 Even DH has been making the bed every morning, including the stupid cushions he insisted on buying because they make it seem "cosy". I'm hoping this continues. Still haven't managed to get around to decluttering the t-shirts, that will probably have to wait till the weekend now.Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 201710

Morning everyone,
Certainly sounds like the Bank Holiday was a spring clear out for many people.
I have managed to put a wash on today and put things away so things don't look to bad at home.
Seem to have quickly accumulated clutter again (partly as once a week we also keep being given stuff)
No real treasure found but lots of lovely things all gone on to be donated and recycled.
I've had an offer for the garden planters, pots and furniture stuff so if house sells will get shot of that then.
It was very hard to do as its the contents of someone's life where everything is still very good condition and useful.
I've decluttered 1 bag household rubbish and 3 pans from plus ones (exchanged for mums far better quality) and and I've also got rid of a kettle lead that I no longer have the kettle for.
Oh and emptied the hoover.
Resting for a bit now but I do have some bits to sell if I can get round to it.

I've been quite productive today. I went for a walk for an hour and a half and did some laundry while I was out and hung it up to dry when I got back. I vacuumed upstairs and swiped round the bathroom
I took everything out from under the kitchen sink cupboard and threw away a few things, mostly packaging to the recycling bin. I need to keep on top of what I have in there as I keep buying multiples. I threw away two old vest tops with stains on after I used them to clean the kitchen floor.
Oh yes, I threw away the flea treatment packaging after we used it on our pets.
I need to vacuum downstairs this afternoon.

Hi all, just a quick post after a quick catch-up, as I have now 24 hours left to my `deadline when the heating engineer comes to survey - I`m still not there yet, loads got done but still more to do so I`ll be back on here after he`s been as I`ll then have another deadline to work to.

More paperwork decluttered - stopping now for a bit.
I have got my driving test rebooked for 27th April so everything is coming at once
Nothing ever seems to happen at the right time but I will just go with it for now. If I do pass its going to make life so much easier for me and it will be lovely to get out and about in the summer.
Ticking a few jobs off the life admin list which is good.
Think there is going to be a lot in the charity shops after lockdown!
