2021 MISSION DECLUTTER and CLEAN
Comments

Congrats @moneyonmymindsam with the job, as someone said it can be easier to get a job when in a job. Hope you get to enjoy time before you start, - sorry it's been such a tough year , take care.
Nothing more out here, hopefully more at the end of the week,7 -
1. KITCHEN WILL CONTINUE TO BE LEFT CLEAN & TIDY EVERY NIGHT2. JUST DO ONE THING EVERY DAY (courtesy of bit_by_bit) OTHER THAN DAY TO DAY CLEANING & DECLUTTERING
3. CLEAN ONE ROOM (TOP TO BOTTOM) EVERY MONTH (hopefully 3 weekly by the end of the year)Another Wednesday done & dusted - time is flying by 😱 (Paid milkman before I went to bed 👏😉) Lots of sunshine but still chilly in the shade & there was rain ☹️ DH fed the worms & continued sorting his office. DSis did more washing & put out on whirligig - but no wind so will try again tomorrow - fingers crossed 🤞 that the weather cooperates 😉
I finally went to the P.O. - 4 parcels posted to France - contents worth £25, postage £43.45 BUT bearing in mind the distance they are travelling I have no problem with the cost 🙂
Then went to MrT Express - automatic doors which now have a traffic light system Green - enter, Red - stay outside. It was sunny so I was quite happy waiting 😉 might not have been so sanguine if it had been raining 😉 Dinner was the 2nd half of the hm beef casserole with added sweetcorn & peas, mash + broccoli from freezer 😋 plus there is enough lo beef casserole to start an hm soup. Wudupa. Vegetable Box arrived & I am jumping for joy - there was NO kale 🥳🥳 Contains potatoes, carrots, butternut squash, bag of spinach, avocados 🥳 (hm guacamole on the menu), large head of broccoli, swede & Jerusalem artichokes (DH & I have never had them before but a recipe has been enclosed 👏)
606 - 610 Kitchen recycling, large bag of office recycling, 2 newspapers, drinks cans - recycled
611 Kitchen detritus - binned
Nice to see you midweek leelad 👋 Very happy that the new bookcase is a success all round - your daughter is happy, you are happy & your wife must be really happy & hopefully proud of herself for building the bookcase 🙂🙂🙂 Not sure I would have had the patience, so I am awarding your wife a Gold Star ⭐️. Disposing of the excessive packaging in an appropriate manner definitely counts as decluttering & as it has been disposed of so promptly you are being awarded a medal 🏅 Fingers crossed that Spring has sprung 😉🤞
Oh dear TC77 ☹️ it is very frustrating that tasks cannot be completed as you are waiting on other people 😖 but fingers crossed 🤞 that your phone calls will move things along.A good idea to add exercises to your Daily List until you build the habit 🙂 Reading about your love handles turning into a whole dinner service had me spluttering coffee all over myself 😱 😂 I am positive you are exaggerating 😉
Agree with both your comments balabooberlies 😉
Good work short_bird 👏 & well done for asking for help when needed 🙂Excellent work on the hedge, nannywindow 👏 Hopefully the weather & your DH will cooperate in your hedge challenge 😉 I am very impressed that you didn’t keep the wrapping from your flowers for Justin or Ron 😉 Yippee to decluttering some of your material stash 👏🥳Party time 🥳 moneyonmymindsam 🙂 congratulations on the job 👏 even if it is not your first choice 😞 As victoriajj said, it is one of life’s mysteries that once you have a job it seems easier to get another job 🙄 You have had a tough 18 months but a testament to your strength is that you are still standing (I bet you are singing now 😉) Again congratulations 🎉
Good work GrannyKate 👏 If you could come round there would be a choice - choc chip biccies, coconut biccies, Twinks’ oat biccies, rock cakes, cherry & coconut loaf, chocolate cake, cheesecake. I have even been known to make bread - plain loaf, focaccia & even HB pan rustico. Sorry to be showing off 😞 but hopefully writing it down will get me baking again - ashamed to say I haven’t baked in at least 10 months 😞Great work HappyKitties 👏 I definitely agree about needing the charity shops to open 😌Great comment retiredinfrance - ‘basic purpose of a job is to pay the bills’ 👏You have absolutely NOT cluttered up the thread moneyonmymindsam “insert wagging finger emoji” it is always nice to celebrate good news 👏 After all getting a job counts as decluttering the stress of being unemployed 🙂 It also reminds me (not that I need reminding 😉) that we have a marvellous group of people here who love to celebrate each other’s achievements & successes 🙂🙂🙂And on that happy note, I will see you all later.MrsSD 🏅🏅🏅🏅 ⭐️⭐️⭐️Decluttering Target: 2021 611/20212021 Savings Pot: £41.00 to end of MarchBe Kind. Congratulations on the new job, moneyonmymindsam. Sometimes what we think we want is not actually what we want, and what comes our way instead turns out to be better. I hope the new job is better than expected and that you enjoy it.
Thank you for my medal Mrs SD. I think the best result from the decluttering in there is not having to fight with utensils when trying to get the one I want out of the jar and ditto in the drawer. They all behave so much better!
Scores on the doors for me over the last few days:-
4 items paperwork
1 frog off jobs list
13 items from the kitchen
5 old files off computer (will count these as emails as it's all electronic clutter)

@Floss ❤️
Thank you all so much.
Typically I have been offered 2 more interviews today. I have declined these, save myself some stress and will see how this one goes. Will have to try on my black trousers (I did keep 1 good pair and one emergency pair) as I did declutter most of them.
Decluttering frog jobs today (solicitors)
and unsubscribing from lots of emails.
We are on eat ups today but will cook a ham tomorrow to keep us going until we shop.
