Used up the last of the brillo pads so the tub they came in has gone.
I also need to do tax return.
I've also got one of my freezer tubs back as OH was using it for some of his sweets, so I can do extra sprouts and put them in the freezer ready for another day.£71.93/ £180.0014 -
@boultdj mince pies absolutely count, as do the various chocolates oranges and toblerones I have been decluttering 😉
Christmas was a success in that we have avoided bringing in any clutter from presents, and I have avoided sales as I know I currently don't need anything. I usually go to lush and boots and buy more smellies, but one of my goals for this year is to work through my vast stash of toiletries. Therefore I will not be buying any unless I run out (e.g toothpaste). But operation stop reclutter is underway!15 -

Sold an old 49 inch TV. Can that count as one bag as it is a huge item?
Got £30 for it when I was going to take it to the tip.
5 bags so far since Christmas if it does count. XSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330
Starting afresh.
You can do anything if you put your mind to it. x16 -

Very much enjoying all the tidying. I’ve not binned as much as I thought I would but I got some of my clothes tidied up tonight using Maria Kondos folding technique. Some stuff does need ironed after being folded so much but at least I can see what I have. I had planned on making a start getting the Xmas decs down and sorted out tomorrow but I got the chance to work (my extension won’t pay for itself!)
Kitchen wiped down and tidy and I’m off to do some ironing to try and keep on top of it!18 -
Had a downer for a few weeks before Christmas but pulled out of it a bit once my lounge was clearer. DH is really fed up of my mess. What he said made me feel even more fed up and lethargic. Anyway. I followed my own advice of 'do one thing' and do things bit by bit. I am working on the craft room that has become a dumping ground first in 2021 but aiming to keep the downstairs clear. Keeping him (and if I am honest) me happy.
I think I have this cycle of tiredness = more mess + no cleaning and getting overwhelmed. I hope to reverse this trend this year with building up excercise and a routine bedtime.

Today I have cleaned out the fridge in preparation for a big food shop, there was so much in there that was wasted because I tried to do a shop to last without much planning. I will now be planning everyday. I've decided to buy a few bits for my wardrobe, I have a smallish amount of clothes due to decluttering but it seems nothing matches anything else really. I have allowed myself a certain amount of money and will plan before I decide what to buy. Not that any clothes shops are open anyway so that should help a bit. I've bought some nice eco friendly shampoo and body wash today along with some vitamins for my veganuary attempt. I need to gather all the other shampoos and stuff together and see what i've got, I'm not allowed to use the new stuff until I have used the old stuff up. I'm hoping I will like the new ones as I plan on only using/buying the same items for the whole year. I'm scared I've got approx. 10 bottles of conditioner because my sons never use it and I tend to always buy it when I buy shampoo! Wardrobe and shoes declutter starts tomorrow in advance of looking for new bits, I'll be checking secondhand first and hope to only buy ethical brands. I hope to reduce the number of decisions I have to make in the morning by making sure all of my clothes are already arranged in outfits. To do list:- collect and sort through all the shampoo, conditioner and body wash- empty wardrobe and take out anything i haven't worn for 6 months/doesn't fit- write down what's left and start planning and researching buys18

I’m back in for 2021 in 2021, 2020 just went a bit 2020 and I sort of gave up.
Plans for this year include: redecorating study including new bookshelves, turning the cellar into a gym/dojo as family do martial arts.Declutter 2025 in 2025 0/202516
