I am same, I think I am going to wait to the lockdown anniversary and try to think of all that has been achieved in that period. So much change, but it has taught us resilience and the importance of what really matters at the end of the day.
Congrats on the successful workshop 💕

Just dropping by to report a large item gone, sold on a local group page.
It was a 4ft tall unit for videos, dvds and cds. We usued it for a drings cabinetCurrent total:9/100bags plus 3 large items
Also decluttered some important paperwork which I had resent as I couldn't find it. Good idea Mrs SD re a list of safe places. The loss of it was really due to my mental dip last year when I couldn't fill in the form. It just sat andsat waiting to be done. Anyway done now. Just got my tax return and probate for my sisters estate to do online now.Vulpix. Doing well with your £s v lbs
I must echo what others have said re being a ‘real patient’. There is a lot of worry for people like yourself who are not getting what they need and will pay the price later. I agree also that it is now good to see straightforward patients. Rare people.
I sympathise with the unfinished projects mothernerd. Got a few myself.

Good moaning. Cat flap in window is at the forefront of my mind today. Woken at 5 by cat asking to be let out! I am a night owl. Being up this early does not come naturally to me.
Thank you for the advice about my upcoming physio appointment. I am very sorry to say that I have lost a tooth due to my procrastination at the dentists.
Plan for today, tidy the house.(won't take long),plant some bulbs that I bought ages ago, make meat balls with some old bread that I made into bread crumbs last night, then knitting. Mr V is going to Aldi for our and my Mum's shop.
I have still not sorted my bank account or made any progress on the cat house, but the weather has not been fit to work outside

1. KITCHEN WILL CONTINUE TO BE LEFT CLEAN & TIDY EVERY NIGHT2. JUST DO ONE THING EVERY DAY (courtesy of bit_by_bit) OTHER THAN DAY TO DAY CLEANING & DECLUTTERING
3. CLEAN ONE ROOM (TOP TO BOTTOM) EVERY MONTH (hopefully 3 weekly by the end of the year)Friday was dull but dry until 8:00 p.m. when the rain started & hasn’t let up ☹️ Recycling wheelie finally emptied 2 weeks & 1 day late 😉 DH did the usual ‘Thursday’ sm trip 😉 Earnest turned up & stayed a while - I glued 2 carpet sliders back onto footstool box. Emptied the footstool & sorted out the contents. Relocated a few items to their proper homes 😉, did a bit of paperwork, binned a few ‘never going to be used’ recipes & whilst I was doing this I had a light bulb moment - I have several (6 or 7 😱) financial/personal frogs to deal with & have decided to deal with at least one per week (starting next week) until they are all completed 🤞
Earnest then attached himself to DH 😉 who cooked the 3 of us a steak dinner with onions, mushrooms, tomatoes, peas & sautéed potatoes - delicious 😋 🤤 & because he was feeling bored he did the washing up 🙂🥳
255 - 258 Kitchen recycling, 0.5” paperwork, plastic bottle, drinks cans - recycled
259 Kitchen detritus- binned
260 - 262 Map of Scotland, 2 x sets of 7 plastic forks - CS bagOh dear Floss ☹️ hopefully you can sell enough items to make the expenditure for the MOT work a little less painful 🤞 Well done on decluttering food stores 👏 & decluttering curtains hemming 😉
Well done on the sales Barny1979 👏Good work villagelife 👏 Hopefully the tiredness can be decluttered as well 🤞
Pamsdish, so pleased the parrot care is getting easier 👏 🙂 I can just picture you outside your favourite cs, 15 minutes before opening time, with a dozen bags & being the first to donate would manage to leave All your bags 🤞
kat360, you are braver than I would be - 4 lots of homeschooling & still sane 😉 I am surprised you have time to eat or sleep 👏Back later to cheerlead 🙂MrsSD 🏅 ⭐️⭐️Decluttering Target: 2021 262/2021Savings Pot:Be Kind. Morning,
Yes, it came Tuesday but by Tuesday night it was pretty much almost there because I was just ensuring everything went in.
I'm doing boxes in it today as I need those gone. The poor kitchen fitters will have no more room for their things 😂.September 2017 Debt = £25330
Starting afresh.
You can do anything if you put your mind to it. x11 -
Hello
Thought I'd join up. I've not posted anything for a long time. I had a good couple of decluttering years but never finished. We sadly lost MIL to Covid in December and I now have loads more of her stuff here. Mostly photos, knick knacks and papers as I was able to get rid of household items and clothes when there was a window in lockdown and I could take to charity shop. Sold furniture or gave it to charity. I managed to sort lots of papers/photos into groups but need to revisit each box and decide what to keep. I did two thirds of the loft.
I did my own decorating for the first time ever last year - living room and dining room - got some help with techie and heavy stuff but pleased with result. I also lost 2 stone between June and December but have put a few pounds on.
So what I need to do:
1. Finish loft
2. Sort cabin out (my late husband's office) which is full of my photos, my mother's photos (died 2013) and MIL's papers etc. Also some stuff of DHs I don't really know what to do with. I am hoping to make it into a nice garden room.
3. Carry on getting rid of paper files by scanning what is needed and culling the rest - did well here as emptied 12 files yesterday.
4. Lose another 2 stone between February and July
5. Get rid of clothes which are too large!!
6. Sort shoes - I have at least 6 pairs which I haven't worn in last 5 years
7. Use food up which I have
8. Reduce spending and save more (not sure that's decluttering)
I have started myself off with 13 out of 2021. I looked at those 12 empty files and intended to put them in loft - then I thought Why? So taking files to tip later this morning.
