Another one here who can spend years getting to target and then whack it all back on again in a few months. I did lose with SW, but I found the lifestyle bit of it hard. It’s making everything from scratch all the time after 8 or 9 hours at work that got a bit much and I slipped back to easier things ☹️ I really need to get a grip again. Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

@WinterWarrior - batch cooking is the way forward for you and others in the same situation. Make several portions of curry, chilli or whatever and freeze in individual portions and just take one out either the night before or in the morning before you leave for work. It's great for doing soups this way too for work lunches especially in winter. When you get home all you need to do is reheat your main course and cook some carbs to go with it - but you can batch cook those too and freeze if you have the freezer space.
@Its_time - hopefully by the time you get to your chosen target you will have the right mindset to continue in the same way.
My loss wasn't that brilliant really because I put on over half a stone in the couple of months I didn't go to group because of being on holiday, Christmas, New Year. All inclusive holidays aren't really a good idea when you're doing SW!

Batch cooking is a good idea. I usually cook lots and then we eat it…which is ridiculous when I could portion it up 😬 I’m really fancying having a go at macaroni cheese in batches as cheese is food of the gods according to me and dog, but devils food according to MrWW. Not very sw friendly though ☹️Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Definitely not SW friendly WW! 30g doesn't go very far (or 40g if you don't mind low fat cheese but I find it doesn't have much taste). Having said that Primula Light isn't too bad as a cheese sauce and you can have 75g of that as HEA (so a whole tube for 2 HEAs!). Not sure that macaroni cheese would freeze particularly well although haven't tried to.

I have a recipe that says put it all together and freeze, then just do the last ‘oven’ step when you need it. I don’t know how successful it would be and I do think you missed a zero from your cheese weights 😬Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

At the moment I am doing a mix of SW and calorie counting but the most important thing to me is making sure I get my vitamins, it's surprising me how I can eat what I think of as healthy food but still be low on my vitamins and minerals. Iron is always low. I've been swapping my cereal around for one that seems better and much more healthy and that is Fruit and Fibre, it's also a lot tastier than weetabix, although I like them with a banana.
I am still sticking to my SW chips/potatoes, tonight I was a bit stuck as have been working with DD all day and we finished late. I found a tin of potatos in the cupboard and put them in the airfryer...instant roasts, a bit of salt and way to go, delicious.
So far it is really helping me feel better being these few pounds lighter, I need to continue.
DD and I have been really busy today, non stop, although we did not finish anything we have started loads, it is my job now during the week to tie it all up. Our latest customer came today to have a look at our ideas and was happy with the suggestions. What a lovely person, he has been extremely complementary, DD said his energy is fab she could stand by him all day.
I need to sort lots out this weekend, washing, cleaning and hoping to get a quick walk in. I also need to constantly remind myself to live in the minute as it's a nice place to be.*Stop giving up what you really want for what you want now*

Another busy week, mucking out, working etc.
Weight is coming down and so is debt, will be able to update debt figures on 31st.
Job 1 has turned me inside out this week and caused a meltdown, very thoughtless people who are pretending to be all about wellbeing and care. I can't take it and am literally drowning treading water....DEBT BE GONE!! 🙏
My DD and friend who is always around in the background but not on a daily basis had a chat with me and helped me feel a bit better. The weight and debt coming down is definitely something for me to cling to when I am suffocating.
DD coming tonight for another exercise session and will be here tomorrow working 😊*Stop giving up what you really want for what you want now*

Hey! Not sure if anyone is around but I think because we've cleared this particular card all bar £200 ish we've been offered a balance transfer at 3.9 pa for 36 months with no fee, I am considering swoping the balance on our other card over to this one as the interest rate is higher I think but I don't know if this is good or not I'm not sure about the interest charges?*Stop giving up what you really want for what you want now*

3.9% is obviously a better rate than 14.88 and with no fee it sounds like a good move if you cannot get a 0% deal.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards.
