I feel your pain. Storm Arwen we had 3 ceilings come down, roof tiles off and my beloved outdoor bar obliterated. No electric for days and only got the electric on in the kitchen the Thursday before Christmas.LTotal Debt Dec 07 £59875.83 Overdrafts £2900,New Debt Figure ZERO !!!!!!:j 08/06/2013

An outdoor bar sounds lovely, speaks of summer...will you replace it? We were lucky this time the electricity stayed.
I feel like a tornado storm myself, going round and round and round.....starting slimming world today, instantly I think...yeah yeah! how long will that be for??....
We have another storm here today as we often do but this one does not have an name except by DH who is calling it a pathetic bloody nuisance.
I have a bit of me time today as the weather is so bad, I am sat on the settee with a pot in one hand ready to catch the rain when it starts to come in and lands in my lap as it often does. Why is it the roof leaks over the seat I love the most?? Pup is cuddled up next to me. I realised when I am not so busy and have time to think I use the spare time to think about myself, my health, my diet, my well being, with that I realised I ignore myself so much. I should be focusing on me first but I don't.
We are on the weekend mid pay day so it's a frustrating time just need to focus on how we have done so far and the future we will have.
I am hoping to spend some time in the sanctuary tomorrow, mostly all day, I need to crack on. The job I am on at the moment I have definitely under charged for as it is very intricate and time consuming but it's all about experience, if I get one of these again I will know. Bookings are still coming in which is lovely. I am hoping to have a full week working this week as long as Job 1 does not get in the way again (sigh).

Not sure yet. We’ve an idea to convert a container (at least that won’t blow away) but we’ll see what happens and how much time we have.LTotal Debt Dec 07 £59875.83 Overdrafts £2900,New Debt Figure ZERO !!!!!!:j 08/06/2013

Well I am eager to see what Sunday brings because my jeans feel a bit loose (could be because I have worn them a couple of days running!!)
A reasonable day in the sanctuary a few annoying things but overall not too bad.
DD came today and is also coming tomorrow as well, her main job contacted her whilst we were working and upset her (as they do) and that was it, she just couldn't concentrate, I wanted to tell her to let it go and stop stressing because I could see the distress she was feeling but realised that's what people say to me and it doesn't help. In the end the problem sorted itself out but it left her worn out with worry. Tomorrow hopefully will be a better day.
This morning on my way back from my daily run (this week only) I was thinking about missing my banana at breakfast, I knew it would mean I would be vulnerable to emotional eating attacks so for the first time in a long time I put myself first went to the sanctuary late and went shopping. I stocked up on lots of free slimming world food and came home and had my banana for elevenses.
I really need a good weight loss on Sunday.

Over a quarter paid off in a relatively short time is awesome. Well done. Evening,
Its been a while since I posted and it's been a rollercoaster of changes.
We originally planned to pay off all our debt and then give up our main job, well that went down the pan and although we have continued to pay off the debt we slowed down in our momentum. We also gave up our main job.
One day it just got too much so we handed in our notice. I can honestly say regardless of our finances it is without a doubt the best decision we have ever made. I did not realise quite how badly I was feeling, I knew I was not happy but since stopping we have realised that I have panic attacks and literally go to pot whenever I think about the job we gave up. I feel like I am fine logically but my breathing increases, I can't concentrate and my heart races, we should have done it years ago.
Anyway, we now only have two incomes, mine and my lovely husbands. Mine is made up of a new part time job I have been lucky enough to secure which is a work from home position and my business that I also do from home which I now intend to give most of my time to as my part time job is in the evenings. DH also works from home and at the moment is working around 12 hours a day 5or 6 days a week.
So we never have to go back to our old main job we have decided to sell our treasured car, we both love her and wanted one all our adult lives but as DH says my health is worth more and if it means we can have a life and go out for chips at the beach, walks in the park with a picnic, a holiday a year and me being well again, then she has to go. So we are going to have one last long road trip in her and then after we have been away end of September we will put her up for sale. We are hoping to get around £28,000 and our overall debt is around £21,000 so we will have some money to put away for a rainy day. When the debt is gone we will just have our mortgage left and will just about be able to make ends meet but will also have my business earnings which will pay for us to have the small treats, maintenace on the house, pay for the horses, holidays etc. It is going to be tight but we have to make it work, it's come a few years early but sometimes things happen and you make a spur of the moment decision. One thing is for sure me and DH have been so much happier since and both feel we have made the right decision.
I am not going to stress myself by feeling like I need to keep up to date with my diary, last time I tried hard to keep posting but it added stress to my already flat out day. I am going to post but am giving myself permission to do it when I want to. I have been conforming to social expectations for far too long, finally I am free and need to keep reminding myself of that beautiful fact.
One lovely thing that happened tonight, I went for a walk down the fields which I haven't done for a long time, although I went alone my cheeky little jack russell snuck through the fence and came with me. I wanted to take her but the horses were due to be fed and can be a bit lively and didn't want her in any danger but she was a good as gold and walked right next to me when we walked through them. Imagine my delight when I saw lots of mushrooms growing, we extended our walk and in all found and picked a large bowl full. It brightened my day to think I had about £5 worth of mushrooms for free, all washed and put in the freezer, happy days.
