Soon you will be below £100K - sounds awesome. It was nice when I got below £200K.

I’m out of practice but trying to do a full catch up. Just typed it once and it disappeared!

Mortgage OP target £550pm to meet 1 year target of sub £100k and 3 year target of sub £75k.

    January £625 🍏
    feb £300🍋
    march £660🍏
    April £630🍏
    May £665 🍏🍏
    June £650🍏
    July £630 🍏
    August £510 🍏
    Sept £230 🍍
    Oct £150 🍊
    Nov £140 🍐
    Average =£471
We changed tack on this in the autumn to put money aside for windows and door which now stands at £3,300 😀

The mortgage stands at  £101,427 so I think we can reach sub £100k in January or February now. I’ve lost track of how much the daily/monthly interest is so can’t work out when exactly but soon enough 🍏

    pt2 to follow, need a cuppa ☕️

That's a healthy fund for windows and doors.

    Well done on OPs too.

  • So other goals:
    house progress is slow!
The en suite has a sink but nothing is plumbed in yet. T has been building a log shed today which is useful but not sure if it’s not procrastination 🤔

Garden has done well for parsnips. Squash and pumpkins grew prolific vines and then got fungus. We got some small white squash but no pumpkins. I think I should have thinned them more. Garden could do with a tidy as it’s the last garden waste collection next week. We’ve got random summer flowers re blooming which is lovely but confusing.

Eco swaps- we revisited the plasterer lady and stocked up and also doing our best to carry on swappingg car for cycles and not use the tumble dryer as it gets cold and dark.

Work/life balance- The trip I’ve been planning for my voluntary role went really really well! I’m very proud of what I achieved and got some recognition for it which was nice. I’m going to squirrel the experience away for next time I’m doubting myself but I’m relieved to be back to normal. Work and uni and house are keeping me busy and it’s nice to have time and headspace for them again. I am trying to give myself a bit of a break as well as it’s been a full on 6 months!

last week I did really well at fitting in cycles and walks in daylight even though it means working a bit later, I’m going to try to keep that up and aim for some autumn running as well.

Have a good weekend wannabes x
