Payday tomorrow can’t come soon enough! We’ve overspent on the joint account and a job lot of bokashi bran for the the composter tipped us into overdraft. I’ve removed the £20 from the windows pot temporarily to stop us getting charged.Money win- managed to resist going out for dinner onMonday night and had omelette at home in front of the fire.Heading to Ts cousins wedding at the weekend which should be good. We paid for accommodation ages ago so feels like a freebie. The only pub in the village can’t feed us so we gonna have to cook 😆

Weekend away was lovely thanks. The wedding was super, although I was migraining through it. We stayed in the cutest little shepherd huts which worked well with boys & Ts sis.Money wise- I have shuffled back the money I borrowed from other pots at the end of the month. I probably got too excited that there was money in the account a week before payday and underestimated what we’d spend.A slight money fail that I’ve paid for 5 prescriptions this month 😱 I normally have 1 medication each month and 1 every 6 months or so. This month I’ve doubled up on both meds and trying a preventative for migraine. I don’t think the prepay card would help though as I probably won’t need any more for next 3 months? Maybe if I stay on the preventative.Other money news- put £50 towards youngest birthday pressie and £10 towards a work colleague gift but that’s it for spends so far. I need to sort expenses out for my volunteer role as everything is currently on my credit card which is naughty financial management. We have the boys again this weekend so going to get out on bikes today, then I’m volunteering all day tomorrow. It currently feels like I have a part time job but will be done and dusted by the end of the month, I’ve achieved loads and I’m proud of what we’ve done but also tired 🥱

I tend to get a prepayment periodically and order up a little stockpile, then repeat the process once I've run it down. You only need to get 4 items in 3 months to make it worthwhile - plus to me it somehow feels less painful to pay £30.25 once rather than £9.35 every time 😱!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

Total amount repaid: £72,307.03. £1.10 repaid for every £1.00 borrowed
Finally earning interest instead of paying it!!!2 -
That would have been a good idea. I did 2 and then saw the dr who pushed through the next 2 early and gave me the extra script. Will definitely remember the stockpile trick! I don’t mind paying but it kind of blew my mindMFW 2021 #76 £5,145
