Can I ask you which sites you used for the dvds please.  I have tried before but only managed a few pence after scanning 50+ dvds.  I tried several different sites so maybe I just don't have the right dvds lol

Thanks @Orangetoes it has been a rollercoaster of a year!

@slm6002 dvds were generally rubbish but did better on music magpie, ziffit paid out more for items but only accepted one dvd

Thank you - might give them another try before trying to get rid of them.  There are so many of them and several duplicates (XH had a bit of a thing for them)

You could try We Buy Books as well, don't be fooled by the name as they take CD's and DVD's as well (I've even palmed the odd cassette off on them in the past) 😀

As we were under budget, I’ve snuck £50 from my account and £50 joint account as OPs. Plans for the next few weeks are youngests bedroom and I’m going to MOT my car in the hopes of actually getting it sold. 

Sounds like an amazing bargain holiday, i'm really jealous!

Two spends to log:
friends’ wedding at the weekend- £50
Tyre repair £15 and £10 diesel for my car- OH paid, I offered transfer it and he said to put it on the mortgage 💸 winner!

Some spends today- nipped into town to pick up prescription and realised I hadn’t been in months and months!
I picked up a blazer and a plant pot in a charity shop -£10 then £18 in garden centre. Went out for dinner which my sis treated me to so only spend was £5 for parking, wayhey. 

I’ve also entered a 10k which has cost  £42 😱 I used to do more races but small , local ones so this feels extortionate but it’s to support sis and I haven’t entered a race since 2019. It might even kick start me running again, going to go tomorrow to see how we get on, it’s been a while.

It’s 10k, I’ll enjoy the first 5k but maybe not the next 5 😂 should have a good atmosphere as it’s a big race.
