It could be that newer electrical regs do not allow equipment such as boilers to be placed in bathroom?

But unsure if built in a cupboard would be acceptable.

    Any electricians?

Surprised the flat has only 1 room with an outside wall.
Kitchen and bathroom are at the rear .. no space on wall enough for flue regulations
only option would be to brick my bathroom window up
    Or put it outside?

    Looking at my bills again
why is my heaters not on economy 7 tariff ...just my normal General Electric gets the cheaper Day / night rate
the storage heaters are on super tarrif which is dearer ..surely it should be other way around ?.
It's like buying petrol on the motorway: should be cheaper because of all the passing traffic, but it isn't.  It's probably a legacy tariff that they want to withdraw, so they're putting up the prices to nudge people to leave.  It probably has an afternoon boost, so you need to check its hours of operation.  That may also give a clue about how well your NSHs will work on E7.

May have used some more in the afternoon?  There may be other things connected to the heating circuit.  Supplying the NSHs on a good E7 tariff should halve the cost, which is almost 18p because you forgot VAT.

Unfortunately, you'll be wasting your time.   The price cap refers to the rates, not the total bill: if you use a lot you will have to pay a lot, just like buying petrol on the motorway rather than at Tesco.
You're on a very expensive tariff, that's what needs to change.

That's not how a price caps works,it is the maximum you can be charged per unit on a standard variable or a default tariff.
It is NOT use all you like for that price. Please have a read about that on here or elsewhere before you contact them, you'll embarrass yourself otherwise.

I told you that in post 3.  You should then find that you're paying around 9p/kWh to run your storage heaters rather than 18p.
    What's the problem?

They still not giving me the new tariff price ... I have to wait for them to calculate and get back to me to see if it’s cheaper for me ...his words not mine

to be honest , I’ve had two hours of nightmare calls , passed around , told wrong Information...I’m just fed up of it

I mentioned the meter getting reconfigured ... no reply on that yet !

I know you said that ... I mentioned it to them , hence getting put onto sales to “sell “ me a new tarrif

I appreciate all the help given 😀

Hi is,  NPower appointment still on for the 21st? You can ask then if connected as it should.

My quick look at your bills / usage at the time you posted them, led me to think your nights were minimum and days maximum usage.

That's why I was perhaps wrongly suggesting single normal rate tariff.

But you and others have looked at it better now  and agree nights are maximum and days minimum?

Myself totally confused as usual. LOL

There are very knowledgeable posters here that will crunch the numbers to see if it is viable, as you now seem to think after talking to the complex meter dept. That a single rate is good for you? Not so sure now, if the E7 storage heaters are not actually on E7?   :'(

First step would be to get an electrician to connect them up to E7 if it does turn out they are not. A great price saving!   :)   And then look at the single tariff rates?

It is really unfortunate you cannot get gas heating though. What do your neighbours have in the adjacent identical properties?

All I can say is come back after Christmas after visit with any other info.

Or any questions advice come back anytime.

For rates comparison I am on single tariff not the cheapest and hopefully not the most expensive.
    11.599p/kWh and 18.095 S/C + 5% vat
