Tyger8 said:I wish to apologise for my behaviour, I haven't been well lately and realise people have only been trying to help. I know this is no excuse but what with self isolating for the last 10 months and then this problem over my WFP. I have been getting rather stressed and then I received the bill for my heating and I'm afraid it all got a bit to much. I will let you know the outcome of my dispute with the DWP but I won't blame you if you're not interested.Tyger8Can I please just bring you back to this post ^^^^ from 2/1/21.It's not the fault of posters on this thread that you haven't received your WFP.You are being angry towards the wrong people. People who have expressed sympathy, understood your frustration and tried to help with suggestions.Be angry at DWP for messing up your payment.Be angry with DWP for fobbing you off when you first queried non-payment.Be angry at your MP who hasn't replied.Be angry with Martin Lewis or MSE staff who wrote the initial reports and haven't 'followed up'.But please don't be angry at posters who've tried to help you.6

I would disagree with this part - we don't know that they're not following up, because none of us here know what they're working on 'behind the scenes' until they make anything further public.Pollycat said:Be angry with Martin Lewis or MSE staff who wrote the initial reports and haven't 'followed up'.
The rest of what you wrote, though, yes 100% agree. Don't be angry at the wrong people!0 -

Don't be angry at the wrong people!I only included that because Tyger8 specifically asked if anyone thought "it's about time Martin Lewis followed up his initial report, he seems to have gone very quiet, especially as he said everyone would receive their payment by the 13/01/21 and that those who received letters with the wrong bank account, wouldn't have to do anything, what a joke.".I would have suggested messaging the MSE person who posted this article (MSE Naomi) but they've not logged on since the beginning of December.

I won't be commenting on this forum anymore, I get nothing but abuse. It seems to me that everyone has the "I'm alright Jack" mentality and sod everyone else.0

It seems to me that everyone has the "I'm alright Jack" mentality and sod everyone else. You have had suggestions to write to your MP.You have had suggestions to make a formal complaint. One poster mentioned grants may be available.I can't see how that can be classed as abuse.I guess the "I'm alright Jack mentality and sod everyone else" comment may be aimed at me because I pointed out - truthfully - that I and many others had received WFP without any problems.Even though that was the case, I have tried to help you on this thread. As have other posters who probably aren't even entitled to WFP.It's a pity that you feel that people have been abusive and unsupportive.I hope that your issue with WFP gets sorted out.It would have been nice to know the outcome but I guess we won't.0

Certainly not the case with Mr S, who received his WFP in November.Carlsdad said:According to the admin on my military vets' FB page, there has been a major glitch, and all, or most ex-service personnel have been classed as being out of the country last year, and therefor not qualifying. The DWP are in the process of rectifying the situation.
Are you sure you have read this correctly? I can't see how this could happen. The only link between the State pension/WFP entitlement and veteran status is that tax due from the State pension is paid from his main source of income - which just happens to be his RAF pension.0
