My ex got their final bill from Yorkshire Energy 22/3/21.Gas fine, using supplied figures given to Scottish Power.Electricity - for some reason they have used an estimated reading. No idea why. The bad news is that this estimated reading is 2157 kW higher than the actual figure!! In other words, £263 more on the bill from this crazy estimated figure.I would like to think that there was some rational, logical explanation for this and that they're not just chancing their arm. Completely unacceptable.0

Now 6 weeks since I got my final £86 in credit bill from Yorkshire, but it still hasn't been credited to my Scottish Power account - despite a few email exchanges.

6 weeks is rubbish! It's been 2 weeks for me.0

6 weeks is outrageouus for credit to be added although somehow I think mine will follow suit. I wish the Martin Lewis team would take this issue up. I have emailed the energy club a few weeks back to see if they could help but have not had a reply.

I am also still in the same position as many here - a state of flux, or something that rhymes with it.
This whole episode is a shambles. So, the regulator, OFGEM, is supposed to regulate the suppliers. Might I ask who regulates the regulator, if it is patently not doing the job it is supposed to be doing, protecting customers, enforcing its own rules and sanctioning defaulting suppliers?1 -
Don't even have my final bill here - almost four months after they ceased trading!
Scottish power are chasing their final bill (which incidentally is incorrect) but needless to say this will not be paid until I get the final YE bill and credit.0 -
My SP account has been £252 in credit, transferred from YE, since 4th March. This site has saved me a fortune :money: ...it's also cost me a fortune!
