Woke up with a banging headache and a really bad back flareup so felt absolutely miserable and grumpy all day. However! I went for the swim i booked and I feel amazing now. So glad I went, almost cancelled, but did some physio in the pool and swam some lengths, just did wonders for me on a day like today. My friend was there too so we had a catch up. Seriously considering a swim membership, I was going to do pay as you go but if it helps as much as it did today it would work out cheaper to do it monthly.
NSD number 4 also which is also a good thing. Grateful for my swim, for finally sorting out a shift at my zero hours job, and being able to change my mindset.6 -
£4.39 on a top-up shop today, drank 1500 ml water, brisk walk for a good 20 minutes, homemade quesadillas for dinner but they were falling to bits (not mastered flipping the filled tortillas yet), and started a digital declutter after watching a couple of videos on yTube.
Grateful for a move down in Covid tier meaning we can meet family and friends outdoors from Friday 6pm, the array of Christmas lights lighting our streets, and nice work colleagues.NST 🐢 & MF before 40 🤸7 -
Christmas tree now safely parked behind garage - a very broad one, but one that should last for the whole season :-). So not a NSD day. I usually have a plastic tree - but since we won't have the house full of people, we might just as well fill it with a proper tree.

Tuesday- NSD 5/15.
Strange day at work, issues with a colleague who needs lots of support but doesn't seem to realise that its needed- it will get sorted, always does eventually.
Glad to be snuggled up with a cosy blanket and a cup of tea. More rain forecast for tomorrow- the ducks will stay happy! The river beside us has burst its banks and is over the path.

Hi turtles! I'm on 2 NSDs. Fell off the wagon badly on Monday, one tipple turned into six or seven. bf is a bad influence but I can't keep blaming him... it is my fault. Spent yesterday with a disgusting hangover. Food budget also out of the window as takeaway was ordered. At least as it was a 2 day holiday it's not too long until the weekend again
I was doing so well and felt so happy and productive before the night out on Monday happened. I know I can get there again. Drinking like that ruins my week.
Grateful for it being not long until christmas, for hangovers being temporary, for having a day off.Student loan £5655

Good morning all...
On the naughty step again for absenteeism! Had a bit of a melt-down over weekend after a difficult time with Mum, and rang in sick. Spoke to GP who was nice to me and further melt-down on the phone ensued. She was lovely - she said "the world will keep turning if you take some time off... and the most important thing for you right now is to take time to recover"... It all kind of hit me how tired I was. It's been 3 years now every weekend pretty much supporting my parents, and working... I think that was the first time I have cried in...? Well I don't remember when. I went for a Reikki session last week and I think it has really helped shift stuff that needed releasing.
So with a bit of breathing space from work stress (which has been grim) it will hopefully give me time to recharge my batteries and get back to a kind and healthy routine that I can carry on when I return. I need to look at what needs to change too, to try and avoid this happening again. Sorry for the overshare but, well - you're all such good listeners - and I know for those of you with caring responsibilities - you will understand.
So f0xh0les I have printed out by debt squares sheet - 100 squares, aeach square = £100.00. I have shifted around my CC debts so they are all round figures or at least either ending in £50 or zero. I have coloured in half a square so far haha. I have worked out at present I can pay £250 per month which is a greats start.
Today I am grateful for...
1. This forum and everybody in it. You are all amazing!!! 🤗
2. Having my little home which is my sanctuary
3. All of my family - I love them very much
Clocked 2 NSDs over the last few days which takes me to number 5.
Have a great day folks! 🌞⭐ DEBT FREE : 18/02/2025 ⭐
