Hugs abundant you have to look after yourself as well.Debt square sheets made me smile I did them religiously until debt had gone.NSD made it to 3 now woo hoo.In worried mode, youngest dd in Canada, had a bad night bad tummy pains, sick and ended up going to hospital as pain was so bad. Test results next week but $1000 dollars cost. Hoping her insurance will pay out, been bit funny about it so far. They have just gone into another lockdown there, so they will have to survive on limited savings. I just would like her home for xmas for a hug. Counting down to May when she's home.Kept myself busy today, so much work done, so I don't overthink things.Supermarket nuts here today had to pop in for items for work. No social distancing, no wonder figures here rising.Plan to have a good walk to de stress after work as it's not raining atm.Grateful forHaving NHS when you need it,Finally all my washing dried on radiators and put away.Made a start on writing xmas cards.LBM 13039 1.1.13 Now £0 Finally Debt FreeMortgage free Oct 2019:)EFund/savings £25000 10/11/226

Wednesday- still on 5NSDs, have been to buy horse food and will go to get human food after I pick DD up from school- should really human food shop without DD as it's always more expensive when she is with me, but I decided to take advantage of the dry, not freezing day and ride instead!
Have time for a 15 minute tidy up before school pick up.
abundant- take care of yourself, work will still be there after a few days off, try to switch off and properly relax if you can.

Take care, Abundant.

I've spent the afternoon emailing or messaging various friends and relatives. Our landline isn't working and to get to the box I'll have to empty and move lots of heavy furniture so I'm leaving it till after Christmas. I just can't be bothered with the hassle just now and there's always the mobile for emergencies.
Had to email the doctors' surgery as well. I sent off my request for our repeat prescription ten days ago and it hasn't come back to me yet. Apparently it has been processed and sent out. Not sure if it's just delayed or lost in the post. Luckily I still have more than enough medication for the next few weeks. It's just another hassle.
And speaking of hassle the Amazon van drew up outside the house yesterday, drove off again and sent me an email saying they attempted a delivery but couldn't deliver it. They didn't even get out of the van! Coming today now, Allegedly.
Today I'm grateful for Himself watching some of the terrible comedies he's recorded so I can now delete them.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.8 -
(((hugs))) abundant - time out to recharge sounds good x
Not a NSD - spent £1 in the CS on a waitr05e Xmas mug, some more money in smkt on food shopping and some stocking fillers and then bought the B00ts N0 7 star gift @£39 mentioned in Martin's email this week, but used my points so actual money spent there was £0- will use all bar 2 things in there and the ones I'll use cost way more than £39 (I use N0 7 normally) and I can sell the 2 other things on t'Bay.
Thankful for - getting the 2 loads of washing DS1 brought back from uni washed and dried - and half of it already ironed, feeding swans and a moorhen again on our walk today, for living so close to the canal, for getting 3 bags of things dropped off at CS today (should have only been 2, but 2 were small ish so made up less than a binliner when added together) Just 2 clothes rails to drop off and then that's it - but I need to sort them out as they are boxed up and a piece fell out of one box and I don't know which one it fell out of..... (my mum gave me the 2 boxes and the piece to pass on, saying to just put it in either box - I obviously refused to do that!)

Today I am grateful for a good time watching a French film with my y9s - they watched it in silence, it was that good, for a dry day, for chocolate, for Kirstie and her cmas crafts progs, for making progess on next week's flashmob...

Hugs abundant - just slow down, take time to recharge and work out what you need in your life to build your happiness, resilience and mental health.
Yesterday most of the bathroom (including all the bars on the towel rail radiator) was cleaned, 6 small cardboard boxes were flattened (the paint cans came in individual boxes, so neat little cubes in strong cardboard and would have made drawers - cube drawer in cube box and so many other things but must be realistic, reckon up how many projects are already on the go) and other categories of rubbish decanted into relevant bins. I had just gathered up things like bubble wrap/ bubble sausages/ bags and I took tehem out and discarded the mostly flattened ones. Have to start asking 'do I need this? ' and 'how urgently?' (how long am I going to keep it before I have time to use it). I hate wasting stuff but the 'stuff' is piling up and I need the space and mental clarity that will give me. Most of the paper packaging went into the paper recycling as well - I have kept two long pieces, neatly rolled up.
I had got mixed up and the food order came yesterday. All the fridge and freezer things put away and most of the fresh veg.
Today I've eaten some of the chilli I made at weekend and added leftover carrots from Sunday lunch (mum chopped and froze some a few weeks back and I had to defrost the whole solid lump), so I'm making progress on weeding out bits hidden in the corners of the freezer and have some ideas on bits to prepare ahead and freeze. Mum has written more cards and we had a short walk to hand deliver two of them.
Grateful for good food, seeing squirrels (one let me within 6 feet of it and I stood watching it until mum's walker scared it to the far side of a tree) and ducks on the canal. My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage5 -
Yesterday was NSD 5/20. Drank 1500ml water but didn’t get in a walk. Homemade chow mein for dinner courtesy of celeb chef Ching He Huang.
Lying wide awake this 2am because the anticipated job loss has come sooner than ‘anticipated’. I can’t work out if I’m more worried or ‘pumped up’ at the challenge of living on one wage. I’m just glad we’ve been preparing for it and that next year’s budget is based on one wage. It’s going to be very interesting to see how it goes. And I need to be more ninja turtle than ever.
Grateful for somewhere to put these thoughts at 2am, for having planned for this, and above all else - our health.NST 🐢 & MF before 40 🤸8 -
Abundant - have some more hugs. Time for yourself is the best self-care thing you can do. Maybe see your parents fortnightly?ldee - a challenge indeed. Yikes. When does it all happen?NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!7

Abundant -hugs. Take a step back, put on a nice hat and scarf and go for a walk in the outside world. Do something 'normal' like 'normal' people do, and take some time.ldee - bug-geration! Get the forms in to the U/C people as soon as possible, they close for Xmas too - don't forget to open their savings account for u/c claimants as soon as you claim, you get 25% interest but can only save up to £100 a month or something - once it is open, it is valid for 3 years - I fear there are a lot of people who are going to get the news just before Xmas that their job will not be there for them come January. At least you had a little bit of warning. It is time to set some budgets, and inform yourselves what you will be entitled to, and to tweak the cv. We are all here for you, and between us I don't think a situation exists that one Turtle or another has not survived. Full of wisdom and experience, us lot. Still not a lot of sense thoughThe best advice I can give you, is to try not to worry outside of banking hours. Lying awake at night going over things does not help anyone, it makes you grumpy and gives you a headache. So give yourself permission to worry 9-5, but after that the banks are closed and there is nothing that can be done until they open again at 9am. There is something calming about being able to say 'I am not worrying about this until after 9am,' and pulling the shutters down. Anyway, hugs!4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!
